They get stuck in a town called Tinsel, where all the BnBs are Christmas themed, except one with is a weird, dirty (literally), dirty (figuratively) porn hub? I want to vomit. don't swingers generally ask you if you want to swing before propositionis for sex? I could not take another second of this "book".

Another great read/listen from one of my favorites

Stackpole weaves an intriguing tale, that, unfortunately, because of a publisher bankruptcy leaves the listener wanting more. (But wait, Stackpole has a Paetron account where he posts new materials, and a tease was left for the fans just this week. (I really hope this comment ages well. Michael, finish this saga, please) )
Book one got me hooked on the story. Book two made me care about the characters. My only complaint is that when read, some of the male voices were not differentiated quite enough to hear the differences above the noise of the airplane where I listened.

Super engaging and fun

I download books to listen on my runs. A 10 hour book should have lasted 5 runs. Nope. I devoured this one. It was engaging and fun. It covered serious issues - serial harassment, one child policy - in believable ways. I found the characters to be believable and relatable. Thr narrator was fantastic.
I have listened to it twice this week!
