What would have made What She Knew better?
If it had stuck to the story of Benjamin and not the neurotic mother's self absorption. I may be too generous with the stars for Overall and Performance.
What could Gilly Macmillan have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
Made the story about the search for the missing child. I don't know if this is the first attempt by this author but she really missed the boat with this one.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
Over acted all the women's parts.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Anger and disappointment that I wasted so much time waiting for something...anything to get away from the whining mother.

Couldn't finish the book. Hard as I tried I couldn't make it past the first half.

What disappointed you about A Conflict of Interest?
got very tired of listening to the main character trying to talk himself out of jumping into bed with the equaly uninteristing assistant. After 3 hours of that I gave it up. How did this ever get published?
What could Adam Mitzner have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
It would have helped to have some sort of plot.

Great disappointment. Sure hated to waste a credit on this junk.

What would have made Alibi better?
If I could have gotten past the narrator I might have lasted long enough to know what it was about. I stopped listening after suffering through 25 minutes.
How could the performance have been better?
Get someone else to do the performance.
