Katherine Parker is on the cusp of having everything she ever wanted - fame, money, and acclaim. So why isn't she happy? In search of answers, she comes incognito to Hope Harbor on the Oregon coast for some R&R. Maybe in her secluded rental house overlooking the serene Pacific she'll be able to calm the storm inside. Nor does he want to get involved with his reticent new neighbor, whose past is shrouded in mystery.

When Caroline wakes up in a Paris hospital with no memory of her past, she’s confused to learn that for years she’s lived a sad, reclusive life in a sprawling apartment on the rue Cler. Slowly regaining vague memories of a man and a young child, she vows to piece her life back together - though she can’t help but feel she may be in danger. Everyone has secrets, and Rachel Holloway is no exception. She’s worked hard to keep the past where it belongs: dead and buried. And so far, she’s been very successful. But now the small newspaper where she works wants to produce a podcast on a cold case: the disappearance 12 years ago of young Molly Forster. Some secrets should never see the light of day, and, as far as Rachel is concerned, whatever happened to little Molly is one of them.

A wonderful story!
Revisado: 05-11-19
The narrators did a great job with this touching story. They brought the characters to life in a very real way. Life often presents each of us with such struggles, trials, and tribulations. The author worked through these very realistic situations with great feeling and emotion, knitting each character’s life into a finely woven story, each becoming dependent upon the other in uplifting ways. A truly wonderful story in which to immerse yourself.
