The Phantom of the Opera is a wonderful story, well deserving of its classic status. Like many classic books that were originally written in serial form, though, there are definitely spots that are unnecessarily wordy and tedious, and some additional editing of the original manuscript probably would have been in order. Overall it's a wonderful book, though, and definitely worth one's time.

not a Flawless book, but an excellent conclusion to the series. definitely worth the time. a good read.
