Historia
After eighty years of fragile peace, the Architects are back, wreaking havoc as they consume entire planets. In the past, Originator artifacts—vestiges of a long-vanished civilization—could save a world from annihilation. This time, the Architects have discovered a way to circumvent these protective relics. Suddenly, no planet is safe. Facing impending extinction, the Human Colonies are in turmoil. While some believe a unified front is the only way to stop the Architects, others insist humanity should fight alone.

Love the cast of characters and story.
Revisado: 04-27-24
Very endearing characters and compelling story so far. I do like the versatility of the narrator of the wide range of characters she has to cover, though I couldn't help but notice her portrayal of Trine slightly changed partway since the first book and this. overall still very well done and appreciating it!

The third of this trilogy beyond all expectation.
Revisado: 03-28-24
Without any spoiling specifics, I'll say at first I was still trying to figure out what was going on. But then when the correlations started to come, the thoughts and emotions are staggering!
Thank you so much to the author, narrator, and all else who made these books as it really made me think about the true implications of life, consciousness, and existence.

Calming and Soothing for the Soul.
Revisado: 03-02-24
Honestly, I was used to other audiobook genres and authors so I was concerned with the pace at first... then I let go and relaxed in listening to the Narrator and Author.
Now, this is my third time listening to him because he feels like a kindly grandfather (not to say anything about age, just his kind, gentle, and wise demeanor are very comforting) telling us a story about himself, life, Lao-Tzu, and the Dao.
Here and there, when I want peace, I just listen to this again - thank you for writing and reading this, Alan Cohen.
I'm forever grateful.

Very Good Practical Introduction
Revisado: 04-24-21
This does very well in helping people understand the preliminaries and basics on what you're getting into, especially for some of the more abstract ideas that may be harder to grab. It's like a good and grounded way to start forward while leaving open the possibilities of further exploring more of the nature of Tai Chi, the spiritual journey, and philosophies afterwards.
It sounds like it would be a good basics guide for anyone wanting to start this journey, especially if you're someone who really wants concrete concepts to focus on before becoming more abstractly and spiritually intuitive and help the wisdom and philosophies make more sense later. Even if you're someone who is fine with things just spiritually philosophical, this gives good grounding principals to start with as a foundation.
Also, the narrator is easy to listen to in a soothing manor that compliments the content. Additionally, because it is not too long, it didn't leave me feeling overwhelmed (at least for me) and gives the main ideas both consisely and meaningfully that will make you want to learn more.
Just like how Tai Chi can be for anyone, this can be for anyone interested in Tai Chi.

Historia
Five years ago, the US Space Force became a reality. And while those writing the checks took things very seriously, the other military branches did not. As a result, Space Force was populated by undesirables. My name is Captain Ethan Stone, a decorated member of SEAL Team Six turned Space Force "recruit". Flash forward five years and between tenses. President West is in office. Power has shifted. And Space Force is defunded. With just a handful of us still living on base, we find ourselves being evicted. But before all of us can leave, aliens invade.

Hilarious, cool and fun!
Revisado: 09-29-20
Had a way of making this hilarious, ridiculous, yet a cool action story (and even sentimental), at the same time the whole way through especially to the end!
(To the author: Even if you ranked it the way you did at the end of NPC (also awesome), PLEASE DO a Space Force continuation!)

The Galahad, a faster-than-light spacecraft, carries 50 scientists and engineers on a mission to prepare Kepler 452b, Earth's nearest habitable neighbor at 1400 light years away. With Earth no longer habitable and the Mars colony slowly failing, they are humanity's best hope. After 10 years in a failed cryogenic bed - body asleep, mind awake - William Chanokh's torture comes to an end as the fog clears, the hatch opens, and his friend and fellow hacker, Tom, greets him...by stabbing a screwdriver into his heart. This is the first time William dies.

New York Times and number one Audible.com best-selling author Jeremy Robinson takes listeners on a journey that is not only action-packed, but full of scientific and philosophical intrigue. In his most mind-bending story since Infinite and Alter, Robinson blends genres, belief systems, and bold prose into an unputdownable tale exploring the nature of reality.

My message to the author: My brothers and my friend who's also my coworker (and all of us are gamers, tech savvy, and my friend is also a pastor) really relate to these characters and are into these stories and topics. We started with The Others then Flux and will probably now check out Infinite and Alter. We absolutely love what you write about and where your thoughts take you and the rest of us. thank you for creating what you do and will continue to enjoy this ride with you as much as we can!
Also, we love both of these narrators, R.C. Bray & Jeffrey Kafer especially in this transitional team up - all 3 together is a dream team, thank you all!

Villains take center stage in this collection of 19 dark and magical stories. Listeners will be cheering for all the wrong heroes as some of the most fearsome, devious, and brutal antagonists perform savage deeds towards wicked ends. And why not? These characters are the champions of their own stories - evil is a matter of perspective. Contributors also include Mark Adler, Bradley P. Beaulieu, E.V. Morrigan, Peter Orullian, Matthew Ward, Kaaron Warren, Deborah A. Wolf, and Janny Wurts.

Pretty good and some were even better.
Revisado: 07-16-20
The stories were good in this unconventionally dark but intriguing collection and a few were remarkable! The narrator and producer surprised me a few times on how brilliant his range was. The ones that really stood out helped make this shadowed narrative as a whole show that even the darkest ideals can be a matter of perspective.

Historia
Thousands of years ago, Earth's terraforming program took to the stars. On the world they called Nod, scientists discovered alien life - but it was their mission to overwrite it with the memory of Earth. Then humanity's great empire fell, and the program's decisions were lost to time. Aeons later, humanity and its new spider allies detected fragmentary radio signals between the stars. They dispatched an exploration vessel, hoping to find cousins from old Earth. But those ancient terraformers woke something on Nod better left undisturbed. And it's been waiting for them.

Great Stories of a Greater Two-Part Story.
Revisado: 06-19-20
I liked Children of Time and loved Children of Ruin. As expected, each could be read as a stand alone, but much more appreciated and complete if read as a two-parter. More so it speaks of a grander over arching journey.
The characters, plot, and their influences are wonderful. I also liked the narrator's telling of the story of a thought-provoking tale with good variation of characterization. Even more so for our thoughts and these of we. =)
As spoken from another godlike character of a different science fiction, this explores the possibilities of existence.

Historia
For 30 years humanity struggled to cope with the brilliants, the one percent of people born with remarkable gifts. For 30 years we tried to avoid a devastating civil war. We failed.
The White House is a smoking ruin. Madison Square Garden is an internment camp. In Wyoming, an armed militia of thousands marches toward a final, apocalyptic battle.

What A Trilogy!
Revisado: 02-20-20
Not enough words can describe this. Listened to this while working with a friend for days and we were blown away by the first one and the rest of the trilogy left us reeling like we were watching a mental movie trilogy on the level of Lord of the Rings or the Matrix trilogies. This author, by far, ranks amongst the greatest in storytelling, philosophical thinking, and excitement just to name only a few aspects. The narrator is phenomenal in range and intonation of all characters that we start to forget there's one speaker and we're lost in the brilliant visualisation of both author and speaker. Thank you for the unforgettable experience!
