I enjoyed the narration and the story. my only issue was pacing. I wanted MCs relationship to move a bit faster. All and all a good listen.

I enjoyed this audiobook. it was great that I had jsuted listens to first in the series. Rockstar romances are usually not my thing but the characters were fleshed out and the stalking stoeyline wasn't too overpowering. I will add this to my relisten folder.

I think was great low angst. A silver fox that loves music ✔️, meticulous and doesn't take crap✔️. Makes other MC want to submit✔️✔️✔️. I enjoyed this audio. The characters were fleshed out. I felt like they were rock band. The tension and hot spice between Van and Brodie was hot. My only complaint was the Quebecois french cursing. I am from that area and they really seemed out place. a bit jarring. Overall great listen. excited for book two's audio.

I really enjoyed this audio. The narration was excellent. I could hear the individual voices of each character. As far as the poly I loved the MCs unapologetic feelings about her wants and desires. I also liked her friendships and the lack angst. I would recommend for a light listen.

Slightly different

I enjoyed the first three novels of the Ferry &Bones series. Last not so much. 8 was hoping this would be different but it's much the same. I like Spencer, he's not as abrasive as Patrick and Takoma was the type of vampire I like, mysterious and capable. Like all of the previous serious and this adjacent not enough romance. Too much, PNR law enforcement procedural. Gary Furlong is always amazing. Narration was perfection. I would recommend it if you enjoyed the previous series

Firm Hand Heals

I loved this audio. It is the best I have listened to all year. Archangel Uriel lost everything in the second world in heaven. His commiteds died and his reason to live with it. Jesse, a hybrid with the face of the most beautiful monster is searching for a firm and living hand. On the surface this is a hurt/comfort, grumpy/sunshine, but it is deeper. There are real scenes of alcoholism, bitterness, discrimination, and pain. There is plenty of humour, sweetness, and friendship.
Kurt Graves was amazing as always. I look forward to the audios by him. I will also be waiting for more books by this author in audio form.

Learning and loving through loss

After reading the blurb I decided to give this author a try. I think going into this book I lucked but not reading the first two books in the trilogy. Not knowing the relationships and learning from the MCs made me enjoy the story. Giovanni is a sub that needs everything from Silvio. Silvio needs to learn how to work to understand what Giovanni needs and the confidence to give it to him. The intersections are tender, smoldering, and so much more. it's honestly difficult to describe.
This audio is fantastic. Each character is given a distinct voice. His voice is lovely and I will be looking for more books narrated by him.
The only issue I had with the story is some of the intimate scenes. Make sure to read all the trigger warnings.
Over all the audio was solid.

This is a tough review for me. I love most of Lily’s work and I’m always excited for a new book. Unfortunately, this audio was let down a little. The execution of the plot and characters are competent. Wren Roberts is clever, witty, and intelligent. Coming up in this world has been rough for him. Mateo Rossi heir to hotel dynasty and overworked. He spies Wren doing some of his best putdown work and becomes fascinated with him. I found myself wanting skim a bit, Joel Leslie was not at his best. His accent wasn’t great. I kept asking myself is he doing a “Mario” impression from MarioCart. I am having a hard time telling the difference between characters in every book because they are sounding the same. I keep hoping for a different narrator or better voice work from the current narrator.  I would say listen if you love the narrator, this will not be listening to this again. This my honest review. I received an audiobook by Gay Romance Reviews.

Waiting for Max

Felix and Max get HEA.
The narration. I consume audiobooks almost as much I read them on my kindle. The narration for this book felt flat. Joel Leslie is very good at his job; it’s just I have heard all his voices too many times before. I own all of Lily’s books on audio and unfortunately Joel sounds the same. I have had to give relisting a break because I am unsure what book I am listening to. Joel seems to have a softer voice and a raspy deeper voice. It also runs into secondary characters. I would recommend this audiobook because it’s Lily Morton, but not for the narration. I am hoping a change-up will happen in the future.
