Historia
In a faraway land where members of the royal family are named for the virtues they embody, one young boy will become a walking enigma.Born on the wrong side of the sheets, Fitz, son of Chilvary Farseer, is a royal bastard, cast out into the world, friendless and lonely. Only his magical link with animals - the old art known as the Wit - gives him solace and companionship. But the Wit, if used too often, is a perilous magic, and one abhorred by the nobility. So when Fitz is finally adopted into the royal household, he must give up his old ways.

Great story narration leaves some to be desired
Revisado: 05-22-18
The narration has some pretty glaring issues with the sound level, sometimes the narration fades off so much that it is impossible to hear just to be restored when I have turned the volume up. Sometimes it seems to coincide with the characters whispering, but I feel that it is a poor production that leves me fiddling with the volume because the characters are whispering.
On a more subjective note I find the narration overly shakespearian(is that a word?) creating a wall between me and the events of the story, I feel very much like I'm being told a bedtime story by captain Picard and not so much as I am part of the action. Which does in some way make sense for the way the book is written but still it is not a perfect fit for me.
