The combination of story, practical advice, and spiritual support to do "the thing that makes us human" was well balanced. I recently watched the movie "Hotel Rwanda" and this was a glimpse into how some were able to forgive and reconcile. I think it would be powerful to go through in a small group to help apply it personally.

I've heard these Bible stories my whole life but the cultural context this book provides a clarity and much deeper meaning that I had ever heard. It truly puts the focus on the original meaning by widening my modern eyes and removing my preconceptions.
