Historia
Nearly 20 years before Jamestown was settled, the English established one of the earliest colonies in North America. Like other early settlements, Roanoke struggled to survive in its infancy. The colony's leader, John White, sailed back to England in 1587 to bring more supplies and help. What White found when he came back to Roanoke led to one of the most enduring mysteries in American history. Despite the fact he left over 100 people in Roanoke in 1587, White returned to literally nothing, with all traces of the settlement gone and no evidence of fighting.

Needs a better reader
Revisado: 01-03-16
Would you consider the audio edition of The Lost Colony of Roanoke and Jamestown to be better than the print version?
It could have been with a good narrater.
Would you be willing to try another one of Kadee Coppinger’s performances?
Not really
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes
Any additional comments?
Really good content, however, the reader sounds like an eighth grade school mate I had.
She read all the words, with more than a few stumbles, but it was flat and uninteresting.
The book would be worth double with a good narrater.

Historia
In the heart of America, a metropolis is quietly destroying itself. Detroit, once the richest city in the nation, is now its poorest. Once the vanguard of America’s machine age - mass production, automobiles, and blue-collar jobs - Detroit is now America’s capital for unemployment, illiteracy, foreclosure, and dropouts. With the steel-eyed reportage that has become his trademark and the righteous indignation that only a native son can possess, journalist Charlie LeDuff sets out to uncover what has brought low this once-vibrant city, his city.

Sounds like an old Mickey Spillane novel
Revisado: 05-05-15
Would you try another book from Charlie LeDuff and/or Eric Martin?
No
What could Charlie LeDuff have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
Too much fluff and attempted drama
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Detroit?
The whole thing.
The subject deserves a much better book and reading
Any additional comments?
I have many books, this one is ranked at the bottom of the list.

Good general information
Revisado: 03-29-15
If you could sum up Online Marketing With Organic Search Engine Optimization in three words, what would they be?
Very helpful book
What did you like best about this story?
Non-techinal, easy to understand that follows a logical flow.
Have you listened to any of Mark La Roi’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
no
Any additional comments?
Very good advice that would be much better without the constant self promoting advice to visit his site and use his paid services. Once or twice would be enough for any book. Once or twice in almost chapter is over kill. I believe the author would call this spamming.
All in all a very helpful book that would be better without the constant self promoting.

You have NEVER seen Ann Coulter like this before! Coulter is uncensored, unapologetic, and unflinching in her ruthless mockery of liberals, sissies, morons, hypocrites, and all other species of politician.Coulter doesn't stop at the politicians, though. Hear her skewer pundits, salesmen, celebrities, and bureaucrats with ruthlessness and hilarity. No topic is safe! This is Coulter at her most incisive, funny, and brilliant, featuring irreverent and hilarious material her syndicators were too afraid to print!

Just a Rehash
Revisado: 03-20-14
What was most disappointing about Ann Coulter’s story?
I like Ann Colter & I buy all her books, but I wish I had not bought this one. It is just a rehash of articles from her previous books. I guess it would be good if you were not familiar with her previous books.
