Historia
"Bay of Pigs" refers to the 1961 invasion of Cuba by a force of CIA-backed Cuban exiles attempting to overthrow Fidel Castro's left-wing government. In Cuba the invasion is called the Battle of Girón, one of the beaches in the Bay of Pigs, which is on the south coast of Cuba. The invasion was one of the flashpoints of the Cold War and pushed the world towards the brink of nuclear war.

Great backstory. Just what I was looking for.
Revisado: 12-16-16
If you could sum up The King's Speech in three words, what would they be?
"Commitment", "Friendship", "History".
Who was your favorite character and why?
The King and what he went through to correct his speech issues. He continued learning and practiced for decades.
What about Simon Vance’s performance did you like?
I enjoyed Simon Vance's performance. It was an easy listen.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
It made me sad in many parts because of the issues the King went through. The public wasn't nice or easy on him in the beginning. Neither was his father or family. It made me happy to know that his friend/teacher stuck by him after all those years especially during the war when they were living on practically nothing to stay in England. Great sacrifices were made.
Any additional comments?
I saw the movie and hoped that I could learn more of the backstory. I was so happy to see that their was a book on it. I really enjoyed it.

Revisado: 12-16-16
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
If they are not a Dan Brown fan then no.
If you’ve listened to books by Dan Brown before, how does this one compare?
This book was better then The Lost Symbol. I couldn't wait for that book to be finished. It was the story, not Paul MIchael's performances. He was amazing.
Have you listened to any of Paul Michael’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Yes. He did The Lost Symbol too. I think he does a great job with what he is given. I can't wait to see what else he has done.
Did Inferno: A Novel inspire you to do anything?
It inspired me to plan a trip to the places in the book. I love to travel and at least that part of the book was interesting. I have been to Venice, but never made it into the famous church that was mentioned in the book. Maybe my next visit.
Any additional comments?
The reason why I wanted to listen to this audio book and others by Dan Brown is because I love the Professor Landon character. I just wish the story was better.

Different from Austenland, but still good!
Revisado: 03-20-16
Where does Midnight in Austenland rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
It is up their with the other enjoyable romance novels I have listened too.
What other book might you compare Midnight in Austenland to and why?
Of course, you might compare it to the original book. The first book was better, but I still found parts of this book enjoyable.
Which scene was your favorite?
I liked the back and forth with Charlotte and her "brother". I thought those interactions were cute. I also liked it when she and Mrs. Charming would banter back and forth.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Mystery in Austenland or Murder in Austenland.
Any additional comments?
Audible.com didn't asked about the narrator in this review. I think she did an outstanding job on this book. She is the reason I enjoyed it so much. I would definitely listen to another book that she does. Great job!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Only if they were a big fan of Theresa Caputo's.
How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?
I would have included more stories of people she read. There were several, but I wanted more.
Which scene was your favorite?
Mainly when she talked about the behind the scenes of her live shows.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
There were several moments that moved me. The biggest was when she was talking about reading parents who have lost their children. Very sad. I am glad that she could help the parents out and hopefully bring them peace.
Any additional comments?
I love her show and her first book. Try the book out for yourself if you love Theresa.

A Childhood Favorite!
Revisado: 03-12-16
What made the experience of listening to The Last Unicorn the most enjoyable?
More of the backstory that I didn't know or understand when I was a child watching the movie.
What other book might you compare The Last Unicorn to and why?
Nothing compares to this story. It's a favorite.
What about Peter S. Beagle’s performance did you like?
It took me a while to get used to his narration, but when I did, it was great. It also made a difference to know that the writer of the book was the one doing the narration. Wonderful.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Like the movie, I cried in the end when the Unicorn had regrets and said goodbye. Moving and beautifully written.
Any additional comments?
If you loved the movie, you'll love the book.

Oswalt combines memoir with uproarious humor, from snow forts to Dungeons & Dragons to gifts from Grandma that had to be explained. He remembers his teen summers spent working in a movie Cineplex and his early years doing stand-up. Readers are also treated to several graphic elements, including a vampire tale for the rest of us and some greeting cards with a special touch.

Would you consider the audio edition of Zombie Spaceship Wasteland to be better than the print version?
Probably not. It seems like there was some info that may not have been added to the audio version. The audio version is a bit choppy in subject matters sometimes.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Zombie Spaceship Wasteland?
His long walk back to the hotel. It seemed like a scary situation.
Have you listened to any of Patton Oswalt’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
No. Just his comedy.

Revisado: 08-03-15
If you could sum up Beautiful Creatures in three words, what would they be?
Witches. Southern history.
What did you like best about this story?

Have you listened to any of Kevin T. Collins’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I have only listened to this performance of Kevin T. Collins, but I believe that he did an amazing job. It really made me believe he was all of the characters that he did. I would definitely listen to another one of his audible books.

I wanted to, but it was way too long. I did finish it very quickly. I listened to it for hours at a time.
Any additional comments?
I saw the movie first and loved it which made me always wanted to read the book. I am so glad that I got the chance to listen to this audible book. Now I want to listen to the next book in the series.
