Historia
Miah Gray is a 27-year-old former army soldier living in rural New Hampshire with his sister, mother, and her boyfriend. He is plagued by PTSD, finding solace, but not redemption, with the aid of prescribed cannabis. All he wants to do is get high, relax with a good sandwich, and watch a meteor shower with his neighborhood crush, Jen. When the sun's light is blotted out the following morning and the world is plunged into darkness, Miah finds himself locked down with his family, covering windows with trash bags, lighting candles, and following the arcane rules of an ancient prophecy.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book
Revisado: 11-25-22
The plot line was engaging. A good mix of horror and humor and sci fi. Reminds me of one of my favorite authors, Jonathan Scalzi. Will definitely be checking out other titles. Narrator is excellent- loved the bloopers at the very end.

Historia
“I’m sorry but the answer’s no.” Reluctant author, Anthony Horowitz, has had enough. He tells ex-detective Daniel Hawthorne that after three books he’s splitting and their deal is over. The truth is that Anthony has other things on his mind. His new play, a thriller called Mindgame, is about to open at the Vaudeville Theater in London’s West End. Not surprisingly, Hawthorne declines a ticket to the opening night. The play is panned by the critics. In particular, Sunday Times critic Margaret Throsby gives it a savage review, focusing particularly on the writing.

Historia
Two weeks after Henry's abduction, he's still burning with questions: Had his mother really tortured him with a synthetic nightmare? Was he really one of the CIA Sleep Control Program's first experiments? What was on the flash drive the President had supposedly given him? Most importantly, if his mother had caused his condition, could she reverse it? Henry soon begins the hunt for his mother, but to find her, he'll need to delve into her past, a world where nothing is as it seems, where the Cold War still exists, where secrets are the only currency, and where torture is an art form.

In the hilarious videos that ensued, the dogs engage in various contests, from bone-snatching and breakfast-eating to crushing it on the dog walk, while Cotter narrates to hilarious effect.

Just love this book. If you’ve seen the Olive and Mabel videos online you’ll love this book too. This book explores the author’s life with his dogs and how they him deal with lockdown as well as so much more before that. I’m not very adept at reviewing but I think this is a good book to listen to.

On the pitch, Doddie's irresistible talent took him to the heart of every team he graced and brought him 61 caps for Scotland. He won fans all over the world with his sportsmanship, humour and boundless energy. Then, in June 2017, Doddie made the announcement that he had been diagnosed with MND.

Historia
Nobody knew where it came from. Nobody knew why it came. When an eight-foot-tall man made of stone appears in the middle of a busy city center one July afternoon, two-bit (and antisocial) reporter Andy Pointer assumes it's just a publicity stunt. Indeed, so does everyone else...until the Stone Man begins to walk, heading silently through the wall of the nearest building, flattening it, and killing several people inside as a result.
