Second book of an excellent series

As with the first of this series; I couldn’t put it down. I rarely maintain interest in entire series of books. I am eagerly starting the third. If you love science , world history, philosophy. History of world religions, all wrapped up into a package of science fiction tied with a bow of superb character development and writing, then this is for you.

Thank you for all of the effort and achievement in writing this book. I received your work during a time of desire to improve my listening ,as a gift from above.
I hope that my listening to myself will improve (which has been a journey that I am already on )as well as the methods and structures on how to improve my skills for listening to others .
Clearly the benefits will be a two way street for all involved . You have provided such remarkable clarity as to the points of what it takes to be a good listener .
I am excited to start my self improvement journey as a listener as I shed my shame for being a “talker”. I come from a tribe of them. It will be interesting to observe their responses going forward; unaware of my deliberate work ,enhanced by the discussion and research gathered in the form of your most excellent book.

I have not read all of J R’s books but this one can stand alone. I enjoy the banter and metaphors immensely;especially since I’m 65 and not typically one who uses his language. But damn ; it’s hilarious and so very freeing!!

I enjoyed The Stand so I found that I enjoyed the format/theme of this book as well. HOWEVER, I felt cheated and frustrated after nine hours of listening to have the cheap blow of what I would call an"easy-out" ending. Do not expect a comfortable wrap up of the story, just enjoy the progress of it. If you need conclusions, this is not a book for you.

Self-indulgently lonnngggg!! I could go in and out of consciousness and not miss much. Too bad because it is a creepy story but I am still unable to get to volume 3. Would be great candidate for abrigement.
