Not nearly enough action.

This has to be one of the first books in the series because you learn about Rain's relationship with his son's mother. I did feel that there was entirely to much philosophy and not enough action. I am glad I didn't start with this book or I would have missed out on a lot of really good books later on.

This is one of the first in the series and I liked it much better than the later ones. This one was much more up beat and you didn't feel like he had to drag himself where ever he needed to go.

I enjoyed listening to this book, I thought the casual sex was a little much but it seemed to work in this story. I was completely surprised by the ending. Fun to listen to and I would recommend it.

I love, love, love these books and I will try to never miss one.
I enjoyed listening to this book but I missed Jim Chopin. Kate can surely get herself into some tight spots, thank goodness for Mutt. What you learn about Alaska is amazing and the description of the country side is wonderful

Would you consider the audio edition of Celebrity in Death to be better than the print version?
I love the different voices Susan has for the characters so when I read them those voices are in my head which makes for a great read.
What did you like best about this story?
J.D. Keeps her stories new and different, any way I think so, even though she has written over 40 books with these characters. I love the interaction of the characters, their ups and downs and the way they play off of each other.
Have you listened to any of Susan Ericksen’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Yes, many and not just the in Death series. WOW she is fantastic.

Would you consider the audio edition of Chasing Fire to be better than the print version?
Rebecca Lowman is great but your own imagination can be just as good. It is not that one is better than the other rather what you can do while listening as apposed to what you can't do while reading.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Chasing Fire?
I really enjoyed hearing how they fought the fires and wish I could be in that good of shape. It was thrilling to learn how they could save themselves when the fire turned on them.
Have you listened to any of Rebecca Lowman’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
At first all I could hear was the "in death" characters in her voice but after a while all I could hear was the "Chasing Fire" characters. She is really good.
