I wish i could say i enjoyed this book, I really enjoyed the Collapsing Empire with the looming threat of the end of the empire and an inexperienced leader to work the problem. This book focused so much on her love life that i grew bored then disgusted, read at your own risk
FYI i loved most of Scalzi's books

I really enjoyed this story, light and fun with a good amount of stress to keep the story moving. If I was forced to find fault with this story it would be the underlying homosexuality in the MC, not something I enjoy reading/listing to.

That last line... painful. In all seriousness a good end to a entertaining trilogy that had me guessing a time or two
I did notice that the entire series had a sizeable volume shift, introspective times were very quiet while battles were loud.
This made the battles exciting however having to adjust the volume to keep the reader from yelling in my ear get old fast

Another fun romp through the carefree and fun world of magic and mischief!

As far as this story goes I enjoyed almost all the plot lines with the exception of Brit and Phillip. "Mad" Brit purposely and deliberately ruined the relationship between her younger self and Phillip utilizing a llie based on nothing but her anger over his incorrect beliefs.
