Enjoyable Listen 😄

It took me a while to get into this story, but once I did, I enjoyed it. I liked the historical backdrop with a strong spunky female lead, which is something we don't see very often in stories. It's an interesting story with elements of fantasy and romance along with a bit of mystery and angst. I'm looking forward to more books by this author. 😊

This was such an enjoyable series! Each book can stand alone but some characters are spoken about or included in each instalment. This final book did not disappoint. This heartfelt story and characters drew me in from the beginning and left me feeling fulfilled but wishing for more. As usual, Leonor A Woodworth's narration was spot on. What a treasure for this genre!

This book checks all the boxes. Wonderfully written story ✔ Characters that get you emotionally involved ✔ Story that keeps your attention ✔ Backdrop of accurate history ✔ Narration that is surpurb ✔✔✔. I was pleasantly surprised to find this book so engaging. It flows smoothly yet has a lot of character angst and sad situations as should be expected during the civil war. It's the kind of story that stays with you when you finish it. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a well written civil war story. 😀 I received a review copy of this book at my request and am leaving my honest review. 😊

Daring Journey 🌟
Revisado: 04-11-19
This is a well written heartfelt story by Misty M. Beller. It's takes you on a realistic journey of life 's determinations and trials during the early settlements of the Midwest USA. I love how the author seamlessly intertwined character struggles and issues of trust with faith to show a poignant outcome. The romance isn't forced, is allowed to progress naturally and grows into a grounded relationship based on the Lord. A must listen for believers. 4.5🌟
Leonor A Woodworth once again delivers a great performance. Her narration is consistently clear and is perfect for this genre.

Historia
Novelist Liberty Ridley, participating in a genetic recall study, experiences an ancestor’s memory from the autumn of 1777. Stunned by the detail of the "recollection", she is even more amazed to find she's intensely drawn to Martin Hemsworth - a man who has been dead for two centuries. The feelings must belong to Liberty's ancestor. She couldn't be in love with a ghost, a mere shadow from the past. But what if she is?

Give me Liberty! 4.5 🌟
Revisado: 04-08-19
I love sci-fi novels and Christian historical romances but never do the two ever meet.....until this series. Heather Blanton cleverly weaves an interesting journey through time..... all with a Christian perspective. It is a believable story with just enough "what if's" to make you wonder. God is big so nothing is impossible.🌠
Leonor A Woodworth is always a pleasure to listen to. I listen to many audiobooks and she is on my top 10 list of best narrators. She is consistent and I especially appreciate her no nonsense delivery. She doesn't over dramatize a scene but allows the story to come alive organically. A true winner! 👏

Wonderful Clean Read
Revisado: 03-31-19
I was drawn into this story from the start. This well written book grabbed my attention and I immediately became captivated by the characters and the story. It's the kind of book that is wholesome yet still contains adventure, mystery, faith and love. My idea of a lovely story.💕
The narration of Amy Deuchler was spot on. You know when you've found a good narrator when, after a few minutes of listening, you get so absorbed that you forget the story is being read to you. She made a good book even better. 🌸

Thank Goodness For Amber Pigs! 🐷
Revisado: 03-23-19
This story is a delightful jaunt that has romance, mystery and fun. The storyline is unusual (even a bit naughty) and the characters are quirky but overall it is quite entertaining. 😁
Melanie Fraser narrated wonderfully. She read in a regency style voice which added authenticity to the production. 👍
I recommend this book if you enjoy a good fun regency romance with mystery. 🌼

Thoroughly Enjoyable Clean Read ;-)
Revisado: 03-07-19
I took a chance on this one and am so glad I did. To be honest, some clean reads tend to be a bit dull with a lackluster story but not this one. From start to finish I was engaged in the characters and the story. I found myself cheering Hank on during his journey of life, love and faith. Bravo Mr Stewart! I am looking forward to more.
I also have to give credit to the narrator. She was a delight to listen to and gave each character their own special voice. :-)
If you enjoy clean reads don't hesitate on this one!!
