Historia
Eric Lax has been with Woody Allen almost every step of the way. He chronicled Allen's transformation from stand-up comedian to filmmaker in On Being Funny (1975). His international best seller, Woody Allen: A Biography (1991), was a portrait of a director hitting his stride. Conversations with Woody Allen comprised interviews that illustrated Allen's evolution from 1971 to 2008. Now, Lax invites us onto the set - and even further behind the scenes - of Allen's Irrational Man, which was released in 2015, and starred Joaquin Phoenix and Emma Stone.

Excellent book for any filmmaker
Revisado: 11-08-22
A wonderful book for any filmmaker at any stage of their career. This book really helps you understand every aspect of filmmaking from a master that too, can be blocked and lacking inspiration to make their next project. 5 out of 5. Thanks Eric Lax for writing such a terrific and in-depth book! I wish there was more.

Historia
Love Life serves up another delicious selection of intimate stories and observations from Rob Lowe's life, told with humor, warmth, and brutal honesty. After writing his acclaimed debut effort, Lowe felt he had more stories to share and many more friends to introduce. The result is a touching memoir about the business and craft of acting, the pitfalls of success, family, love, and much more.

Enjoyable book but the second the last chapter was worth it all! Lorne Michaels is my hero. Rob tells many wonderful stories. This isn't the book for you if you want to hear 'The West Wing' stories. But great for everything else. Funny too!
