Great characters and story
Revisado: 10-24-19
I loved the characters! I frequently found my heart breaking and singing with them. I knew their feelings, even though the circumstances were far removed from any I have experienced.
A great book! I listened at 1.5x speed though. The narration is a little slow, but flows great at 1.5x.

Historia
Danny North knew from early childhood that his family was different - and that he was different from them. While his cousins were learning how to create the things that commoners called fairies, ghosts, golems, trolls, werewolves, and other such miracles that were the heritage of the North family, Danny worried that he would never show a talent, never form an "outself"....

Unnecessarily Seagal and Vulgar
Revisado: 10-24-17
The story is ok, but the execution involves exploitation of a female character that is totally unnecessary to the story and to establish the characters. I was extremely disappointed at Card's lack of civility

Very well prepared and delivered.
Revisado: 08-10-17
I am extremely impressed with Dr. Stoler. He sifted through over 240 years of history and presents the most important individuals and events. He links everything to the purpose of the course, but is not afraid of taking a little time to give valuable breif background to explain events. He never gets lost in a rabbit hole of explanation and his voice is very enjoyable. I couldn't say more good about him or this course!
