It catalogs how geography played the biggest part in the development of human society. Good book.A look at how and why civilizations rose and fell.This gave me a good deal of insight on why the world ended up the way it did, answering questions that I had about the New World, Africa, and Southeast Asia. I highly recommend this book for people curious about these questions!
