Historia
Successful couples know that harmony and happiness in marriage are not achieved by love alone. There is the other side of the Ephesians 5:33 equation - respect. Yes, a wife needs love. But a husband needs respect. Based on extensive biblical and scientific research, Dr. Emerson Eggerichs reveals the secret to couples meeting each other's deepest needs: Without love she reacts without respect, and without respect he reacts without love and a destructive, vicious cycle begins.

Historia
When a relationship or any other area of life isn't working, there will always be an internal, underlying condition that is creating the problem. This condition creates a state of fear, upset and tunnel vision. It destroys our ability to find solutions and forces us to act in a way that magnifies the problem. Until this condition is removed, you will be forced to repeat the past. This incredibly profound book walks you through the process of finding and removing this condition.

It works
Revisado: 05-13-15
At first I thought this was a bunch of mumbo-jumbo psychobabble. However, I followed the instructions of the book and it worked. Honestly learned a lot about myself and I'm better for it.

Historia
You may not feel like reconciling. You may not see hope for a reunion. But the biblical ideal for a separated couple is reconciliation. So how do you do it? When doors slam and angry words fly, when things just aren't working out, and even when your spouse is interested in someone else, there is hope. The Word of God is active and powerful. It offers the salve needed to heal lives, and that salve can heal marriages, too.

Revisado: 04-30-15
Very practical guide for how to reconcile after separation as well as how to deal with not reconciling. Fair representation of each partners responsibility. Strong Christian perspective, but useful for any persons.

Historia
Did you know that spiritual, emotional, physical and relational exhaustion lead to anger? And unresolved anger leads to sin. All couples deal with anger and how they respond (stuff it, spew it or study it), can make all the difference in their relationship and in their lives. In From Anger to Intimacy, Gary Smalley and Ted Cunningham explore this often maligned and God-given emotion that unless dealt with can strip us of everything we love.

Anger is an anchor
Revisado: 04-26-15
It's hard to understand and recognize anger in yourself. This book can help you let it go. Anger holds you in place stick like a ship that's dropped anchor, but releasing it is like pulling up the anchor freeing ones self to move forward in any direction. Great read. If you are a grudge holder, this book is definitely for you!

Awesome! Really insightful and helpful.
Revisado: 04-06-15
Excellent book. Very helpful and very insightful. Wonderful to strengthen relationships that are already strong but most helpful for repairing relationships that are on the rocks. I believe this book could be extremely useful to couples.
