A cerebral journey.... one that we are currently facing within society. Right, wrong and what truly is for the greater good? Compassion, and empathy a human trait is unpredictable. Government's oppression and subversion of basic human rights.

I wish I could get my credit back. The female voice is granting, it actually sounds like the voice changed during book one. And the writing is repetitive in certain chapters. I stopped in the second chapter.

This by far is my favorite novel in the series thus far! I started with the first of the Alpha series and continued. Milana Jacks is now one of my favorite authors and the narrators Ava Lucas and Gary Bennett are amongst my top three.

The Narrators were amazing. The story has quite a few comedic moments. Not what I usually like but I think I will continue with the next book.

I read the first book and enjoyed it so much that I purchased this one and the next. And re-read and listen to them again, purchased all of the audio novels. The characters are well developed and all of the female leads are realistic and naturallyfeminine. Not just the strong black women that society paints us out to be... This women are multi layered and complex, and in society, system, and world that did not favor them. These women be clever, determined and out of sheer will overcome the aliens that captured them and change their world forever.

I absolutely loved the eroticism and yes there is expressed rape, this does not take any thing away from the novels. I cannot wait for the next in the series. Now I have a new favorite author. I still only enjoy Ms. Dove as narrator.
