Romance with real love!

This is a refreshing love story that is romantic. There is kindness, protective actions and falling in love. There is no grinding sexual scenes written in this love story and most of us would probably agree that there is too much of that and not enough of real love. I would recommend this book to anyone and I could. Isn't that wonderful!

Excellent reading!

I read and listened to the entire series almost one book after the other. Each book was well written, well researched and had an excellent story line with well developed characters. By the end of the series I was wondering what happened to the different characters that were not critical to the Boone Family story, but still interesting. There are many things in this series that were a learning experience for me. The entire series is interesting, thought provoking, as well as filled with many reminders that our existence on this earth is fragile. I highly recommend this entire series.

Clever and clean!

I enjoyed the story and the love story! The listening experience was great and I didn't get bored because it wasn't bodice ripper, rather I enjoyed it more. This book gives me hope for the romance genre. Thank you to Sally Britton and Jessica Elisa Boyd.

Wonderful story and written with quiet passion.

I enjoyed this story from it's sad beginning to it's quietly wonderful ending which was really another beginning. This is a novel about honor, determination and faith with a touch of fantasy thrown in. If I could give it more stars all around, I would. Good job, Amy Harmon!

This story line was predictable in every way except for which woman would wind up with Enzio. I still enjoyed this book overall and would recommend it to those who don't read a great deal of the thriller genre.

This was an excellent book.

The characters in this book broke my heart in the best way. The family of the heroine and her little daughter are the kind everyone should have. The villains were pitiable up against the close and extended family of Red and Little Red. Good job!

What a well written and completely depressing book

I didn't like it but kept waiting for Libby to brighten up, for her to realize she could change her life. She just never made me believe there was ever going to be a happy ending . . . ever. Dark Places is like the title says; dark. I can't recommend this but it is well written and the characters well developed and some are interesting if depressing.

Good solid book.

I enjoyed this book. The story is an old one; sibling rivalry yet with a twist that isn't unheard of but is certainly uncommon. The ending was handled in a surgical way. Sometimes an otherwise good book can be destroyed by the narration and fortunately this is not the case with "The Better Sister". I recommend this book.
