The narrator is remarkable!
Revisado: 03-23-21
The narrator did a marvelous job bringing this masterpiece to audio. At times I thought there were several voices but it was all him. Bravo!

Stupid but fun!
Revisado: 04-19-18
It's definitely not up to Monster hunter standards but I enjoyed it. I would alternate between "Why am I listening to this?" To laughing out loud at his jokes. He definitely shares my sense of humor.! Fun book...but stupid. I'll definitely get the next one in the series.

Not useful
Revisado: 07-03-15
I'm sure the author had good intentions but I didn't find any of the information useful.

Historia
Ballad of the Whiskey Robber tells the hilarious and improbable true story of Attila Ambrus, the Robin Hood of Eastern Europe. He's the onetime pelt smugger, goaltender (possibly the worst in the history of pro hockey), pen salesman, Zamboni driver, gravedigger, church painter, roulette addict, building superintendent, whiskey drinker, and native of Transylvania who's decided that the best thing to do with his time is to rob as many banks as possible.

Historia
Two men, each handsome and unusually adept at his chosen work, embodied an element of the great dynamic that characterized America’s rush toward the twentieth century. The architect was Daniel Hudson Burnham, the fair’s brilliant director of works and the builder of many of the country’s most important structures, including the Flatiron Building in New York and Union Station in Washington, D.C. The murderer was Henry H. Holmes, a young doctor who, in a malign parody of the White City, built his “World’s Fair Hotel” just west of the fairgrounds.

Excellant
Revisado: 02-23-08
This book was excellant, and the audio was fantastic. I listened to the entire book 3 times and downloaded every other book the author wrote. The author is so well-researched and brings together two completely different stories into one book. This genre is so unique and I look for books like it everytime I log on.
