Intriguing insight

This is one of my favorite episodes of Esther’s sessions with couples struggling with their marriages. It provides a lot of insight into the problems of people struggling with sex and erection, and communication and confidence.

Surprisingly engaging

This audiobook is so long that I put off listening to it for awhile. But once I started it, I couldn’t put it down! I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Arnold’s journey from a young boy, to body builder, to business man, to actor, to father/husband, and to politician. I actually started this book because of his recent ads to raise money for charity. I’m so glad I finished this and particularly enjoyed his explanations of how he approached tough decisions as governor.

Simple concept but beautifully delivered

I loved how simple and actionable this book is. I loved how Mel read it like she was having a conversation with you and she knew what I was thinking. Yes, you could watch her TED talk and save some time and learn the rule, but the book goes more in depth on how taking action with it can change your life. I absolutely loved this gem.

Thoroughly enjoyed and will apply

Great book for anyone striving to get the best out of themselves or others. The audio version was great but I found myself writing down ideas and quotes as I was listening. If you're debating which version of this book to get, you may want to consider the kindle or print version if you like to write down quotes.

Would you listen to The Success Principles(TM) - 10th Anniversary Edition again? Why?

After listening to the audio, I purchased the print version and gifted the print version to a friend. I always find I go through my audiobooks faster than my print books. But in this case, I wanted a print version to refer to.

Any additional comments?

I'd recommend getting the print or kindle to accompany the audio because you'll want to go back and refer to it!

If you love Oprah, must read/listen!

I splurged on the kindle and whispersync version. Worth it because I loved hearing Oprah's narration and I highlighted so many gold nuggets of wisdom found in the book. Whenever I'm purchasing a book I always debate which format I should get. If you're always debating audio vs print vs kindle, in this case, I recommend getting the whispersync with the kindle.

Entertaining story of Trevor's life

Would you consider the audio edition of Born a Crime to be better than the print version?

If you're debating audio vs print, get the audio! Trevor's narration is awesome because he's such a good story teller, and it's his story!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Trevor! I loved how he develops from a boy to a man in this book.

A bit repetitive

Seemed like the author was stroking his own ego most of the time. But it was interesting to learn about the sacrifices athletes make to maintain at peak performance.
