The other books in this series were good, but this one was boring. I didn’t like the female narrator wasn’t good and I didn’t like the little boy who wore dresses- why?

Not sure a will can direct beneficiaries in that way, but even so, who’s going to police such foolishness. Also, this book was boring. I had skip thru a lot of self talk. This was lazy writing.

I disliked all the characters in this book. The daughters would not leave their father because of the mother. Frankly, that reason was lazy writing. There were so, so many improbable things in the book, I could enjoy it. I hated the daughters, Maria, Jack and all the secondary characters. Sad, because I really enjoyed the first 5 books

The story was not believable. It just never made sense that Elena would act like she really liked Nico then, when it was decided she would marry him, she acted like she hated him. Much of the dialog was between Elena and herself was based on, did she like him, why he wouldn’t like her etc.

Stupid ending

I enjoyed the book for the most part. There was a lot of self talk and most of it was redundant. The end of the book was ridiculous. Faith was mad at Jace for not helping her dead husband by giving him more money to get him out of trouble again. It didn’t make sense that anyone with half a brain would be mad at someone for that. I assume better communications would have solved all of these problems.
