Too many good characters lost!!

OK - I made it through the 3rd book, but just barely! Would have been a lot better if the main character had been a lot stronger willed - she really was kind of a wuss - not very brave, always second guessing herself and way too many people where sacrificed under her watch - so sad - the bad guys had way to much power over her and she really was a weak character - other than that it was a good story.

Wow! Just Wow!

My very first audio by this author and I know it won't be my last. What a beautiful message to women and their strength and independence. Disturbing at times, but a story that needed to be told, to all who struggle and feel trapped - to be able to reach down really deep and find the surface to freedom and to fight for your life and independence will never get old for me. Single mom of 2 that faced this very thing, I can so relate - I made it out and pray the others will.

Wow! Just Wow!

I don't do a lot of written reviews, but was so moved by this audio, I just had to say something. I am making my way through all of Jennifer Armentrout's audios and believe me I have many so far, have not come across a one that I haven't thoroughly enjoyed, but I have to say this had to be one of the most moving and emotional audios I have ever listened to - what a beautiful, emotional message of self worth and coming through the nightmares of foster care and the horrors that some of these kids face. Ryder and Mallory were two of my favorite characters, you really felt their pain, their love, heartbreak, and so much more - don't pass this one up, you will not be sorry!

Stopping Right Here

Not sure who's fault it is - the author or the publisher, but not going to purchase anymore of this series. I would have given 5 stars all the way around, but I'm not going to get left hanging seeing as though Book 4 is dated as being released in 2018 and it is now 2020. If the rest of the series is not available than why bother. Not sure how they expect us to purchase all of these and then just stop in the middle of it with no closure and maybe no intention of ever finishing. This is getting really old - won't start another series with this author - it's too bad, because she is pretty good, but it's really getting old - lot's of others that offer a beginning, middle and end and a heck of a lot more satisfying. Sorry, don't like to give bad reviews, but maybe this might help someone else, before they get sucked in like I did.

Found a great new Author

Can I just say how grateful I am to Audible for introducing the "Audible Escape" program - the only books I listen to are Romance, so it is perfect for me and because of all the free books that are available I have found some pretty great new authors, like Susan Stoker - she is unbelievable and I can't say enough good things about this series "Delta Force" - never a dull moment, there is not a chapter that isn't filled with romance, action, comedy and heroes - I will listen to every book she has available in this series and all the other series. Susan writes with such conviction, detail and just the right amount of humor that you become part of this group of heroes and never want the stories to end. This box set is a perfect way to get started and absolutely worth the credit. Don't write a lot of reviews, but really had do with this - I'm always grateful when I read them and it makes me take the leap - you won't be sorry!!

Can't Believe It!

So mad right now - I swore I would not listen to another audible book that was a duet, trilogy, series, etc., until all books were available. How do you avoid this, when the publisher, author, or whoever doesn't announce this fact before you purchase. What I thought was a stand alone obviously is not - I read the audible reviews and no one mentioned it ended completely unfinished, left me hanging and who knows for how long - probably until I have forgotten what I just listened too, as I devour audios at a rate of 5 -7 per week.
The book is amazing - the narrators are amazing - you will enjoy it, however you will be left hanging - I wish someone had warned me - I feel I needed to pass this on. No clue when the continuation will be available. Love audio, but getting really burnt out on being deceived.

INCREDIBLE SERIES

Can't say enough good things about this series - WOW!! Not predictable in any way, it takes you down a path you thought would never end the way it does. The narrators are 2 of my favorites so that made it one of the best series I have listened to in a very long time - I am ready to start it over again. The chemistry of Caden and Grayson is off the charts and it is HOT, HOT, HOT!! Don't ever stop writing Ms. Reiss - can't wait for what's next.

ALL I CAN SAY IS WOW!!

Just finished this trilogy by Celia Aaron, who is a new author for me and has now become one of my favorites. The best part about this trilogy, was I didn't have to wait months to get each part of the story - I want to thank the author or publisher, whoever is in charge of that decision, because there is nothing worse than having to wait for the next book to come out.
You really have to like dark romance, but if you do, you are in for one heck of a ride. The imagination and detail that this author brings to her story is beyond words. Some parts were hard to take, but then that's what makes it so moving and dark - not for the weak at heart.
I highly recommend this trilogy to anyone who likes it dark and no one has paid me or given books for free to state that fact - enjoy!!

COULD HAVE BEEN REALLY GOOD!

Really good story and yes the narrator has a real nice voice, however he did not even try on the female voice and it was distracting - you get lost not knowing who is really talking, as the voice was exactly the same for male and female - then on the grandmother's voice he made her sound like "The Terminator", it was horrible. This narrator needs to stick with reading only male portions of audio books. I was disappointed, and praying that Book 2 has a different narrator.
