Like it or not, your every move is being watched and analyzed. Consumers' identities are being stolen, and a person's every step is being tracked and stored. What once might have been dismissed as paranoia is now a hard truth, and privacy is a luxury few can afford or understand. In this explosive yet practical book, Kevin Mitnick illustrates what is happening without your knowledge - and he teaches you "the art of invisibility".

Clearly if a guy with this amount of knowledge has to go through such trouble to remain off the grid then the rest of us are not safe at all - good book. Entertaining. A lot I hadn’t hear off. It’s scary

If you are like most traders, you probably overlook or misunderstand mental and emotional obstacles. While many trading psychology books offer sound advice, they don't show you how to do the necessary work. That's why you haven't solved the problems hurting your performance. With straight talk and practical solutions, Jared Tendler brings a new voice to trading psychology. In The Mental Game of Trading, he busts myths about emotions, greed, and discipline, and shows you how to look past the obvious to identify the real reasons you're struggling.

Best Trading Psychology book out there
Revisado: 01-26-23
I came to hear from Jared for the first time on a podcast for traders and investors, then proceeded to read his book with great anticipation. I've read multiple books about T&I and I've found them rather vague... they all seemed like books written by authors to make a profit out of sales rather than genuinely break the mold with real useful wisdom; then came Jared. Outstanding in his field, this book has a lot to say and everything of it is worth implementing. It's clear, it's easy to understand, and applicable. I listened to this book twice already and will come back to it again later on.
If you are a beginner in trading -less than a year- then this book will help you build the foundations needed to succeed. If you are an experienced trader, this book will help you stay in check and accelerate excellence in your performance.
This is not a book about how to trade technically or fundamentally, it's solely about trading psychology and is an exercise guide to improving your execution.

Historia
These days, no one in America feels immune to violence. But now, in this extraordinary, groundbreaking book, the nation's leading expert on predicting violent behavior unlocks the puzzle of human violence and shows that, like every creature on earth, we have within us the ability to predict the harm others might do us and get out of its way. Contrary to popular myth, human violence almost always has a discernible motive and is preceded by clear warning signs.

Historia
We are living through the most prosperous age in all of human history, yet we are listless, divided, and miserable. Wealth and comfort are unparalleled, but our political landscape is unmoored, and rates of suicide, loneliness, and chronic illness continue to skyrocket. How do we explain the gap between these truths? And how should we respond? For evolutionary biologists Heather Heying and Bret Weinstein, the cause of our troubles is clear: The accelerating rate of change in the modern world has outstripped the capacity of our brains and bodies to adapt.

Good compilation of wisdom
Revisado: 01-26-23
It is indeed a good guide for humans in these times. Especially when marketing has so much power and is designed to sell at all costs - making it a matter of conflict of interest. Overall the book is great - I enjoyed the first half more, seemed to pinpoint the guide better. Bret's voice, in my opinion, is not the most suitable for narrating audible books but I always enjoy hearing from the authors. If you are into learning from nature and constantly trying to make your lifestyle as healthy as possible, this book covers some relevant insights and is up to date.

It's on the television, in the papers, and in our minds. Every day we're bludgeoned by news of how bad everything is - financial collapse, unemployment, growing poverty, environmental disasters, disease, hunger, war. But the rarely acknowledged reality is that our progress over the past few decades has been unprecedented. By almost any index you care to identify, things are markedly better now than they have ever been for almost everyone alive.

The book is short and sweet and has interesting insights and statistics. The ten points of view are well put and have enough facts to support. I got to this book because Jordan Peterson recommended it.

For generations, everything has been getting faster, better, and cheaper. Ever since Darwin and The Descent of Man, the existence of humans has been attributed to our intelligence and adaptability. But in Catching Fire, renowned primatologist Richard Wrangham presents a startling alternative: our evolutionary success is the result of cooking. In a groundbreaking theory of our origins, Wrangham shows that the shift from raw to cooked foods was the key factor in human evolution.
