Ugly Mirror
Revisado: 12-06-24
Thank you so much for taking the time to interview Blake . Many of the experiences that he shared are not solely his experiences. Many of us that have been in law-enforcement for any length of time have endured similar atrocities by our own leaders. Listening to Blake was like looking into my career through an ugly mirror. As Blake spoke and brought these issues that are shared by so many to light it was as if the weight of decades of mistreatment and disillusionment by career politicians within departments had been lifted off of my shoulders, and that of many of my brothers . Thank you Blake for saying what many of us have been screaming internally for years. You are truly a friend and a lifelong brother to every law enforcement officer that walks the thin blue line. Thanktnk you Shawn for taking the time to make this an interview that will forever be held in the hearts of many many law-enforcement officers in this country

Accurate, well researched but painfully lengthy
Revisado: 01-02-22
Had it not been for my interest in the topic this audio book would have been painful. The narrator, while very well spoken, is monotone and his voice seems to drone on at times. The material covered is excellent in quality and well detailed. This would be well suited for someone studying that can break it off in small pieces. I listened for an hour at a time during my commutes thus making it a bit more digestible. Overall it is an excellent book and forma the basis of what could be a textbook on the topic of Reconstruction.
