Historia
The missing don't always want to be found. Kate Harlow recognizes this painful truth, even as she keeps searching for her daughter, Sophie, who disappeared two years ago. The police have stopped investigating - after all, Sophie has sent postcards home, insisting that she's fine. Then one evening, as she volunteers at a charity helpline for missing teens, a call comes in from a voice Kate instinctively recognizes, even through bursts of static and beyond the sudden dial tone that breaks their connection. Those closest to Kate worry she's cracking under her grief....

Couldn’t stop listening

At first I just enjoyed the voice of the reader, nice to fall asleep to, but was soon completely engaged in the great storytelling.

Historia
The year is 1970. Emma Gable, a blind teenager coming of age in a small industrial town in Western New York, is about as far from the seismic cultural transformations rocking campuses and city streets across America as a person can get. Emma escapes the chaos of her dysfunctional family by dialing up random numbers on the phone in her bedroom, just to see who'll answer.

Great Performance. Unlikable Characters

Arranged like a tv show

Though the work by the actors were great there was a constant interruption of music and playing sound effects which became way too much. I begin to really dislike the theme song which I didn’t notice much at first.

Historia
Only a handful of people in the world know that mankind's magic comes from a living creature, and it is a refugee from another universe. The Power showed up here in the 1850s because it was running from something. Now it is 1933, and the Power's hiding place has been discovered by a killer. It is a predator that eats magic and leaves destroyed worlds in its wake. Earth is next. Former private eye Jake Sullivan knows the score. The problem is, hardly anyone believes him.

Beautiful ending.
Revisado: 11-13-13
What did you love best about Warbound?
vibrance of characters, living and dead. continues from other two books seamlessly, great continuation and more, of previously beloved characters. .A real 1930's ambiance is created, with magic, zombies, women with machine guns, superhuman men that are honorable amongst powerful and corrupt ones. .
What did you like best about this story?
this story knocked my socks off and left me feeling I knew everything I wanted to know about the characters . it was fun and thought provoking.
What about Bronson Pinchot’s performance did you like?
so many accents done brilliantly so much dedication to realness in the many people he portrayed that truly are historical figures and great depth in the books characters. he gets a standing O from me.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I don't want any other books now.
