this was a book about the author's ego more than about leadership

it is unfortunate that most of the book is about military tactics and not about application to leadership the part about the title expresses has to be more developed within the book. the authors are clearly more interested in sharing their stories at war with great details than expressing more about leadership within the industry that they are trying to apply this to. this being said yes every boss needs to own it and every employee needs. if you get that then you've read the book

inspiring and humbling

I picked up this book because I wanted to learn more about how to handle horses as I get back into the scene in my late life. I've learned a lot that can be applicable not only to horses but to people. the book is well narrated. I couldn't put it down or rather I could not take off my headset. if you are horse lover, or even remotely think you might enjoy stories about horses, or if your parents with a difficult child, read this book.

I learned a lot about a characters I've never heard of but we're fascinating and great Achievers in their own field. because I'm an avid self-help reader I am not sure I learned a lot but at least it rain reinforced what I knew
