The necromorph is a really cool concept but the story falls flat from both in universe lore and how poorly the characters are written.

For most of the cast the only thing you ever learn about them is how inclusive they are, which is totally irrelevant. I don't care what race/nationality the character is, give them am engaging personality.

Worst protagonist ever

Wow... I barely know how to review this without spoilers, Bleu is just terrible in literally every way, no personal growth throughouteither. Dorian went down a cartoonish path for character development. every other character was just there to pretend to have traits or simply be stereotypes.

What is the moral?

A well written tale of modern fantasy, with poorly written characters. Bree never does anything that isn't directly selfish until it slaps her and immediately returns to being completely self-centered and in the end is granted control of basically limitless power without training for it, how does that make sense? I'll return for the third installment for the lore and fantasy, but the characters are extremely surface level.

Great lore, terrible protagonist.

The story is great, good depth into the mythos. protagonist is severely lacking personal depth or growth.

Voice performance is nice to listen to but she has a lack of ability to do enough voices for important characters to be vocally identified.
