Yikes not only a waste of $5 and a hour but killed some Brian cells. Probably the worst narrator I've ever heard. He sounds like a kid giving a junior high career presentation. Mispronounces words OFTEN! Book it self is worthless and filled with things like " It would be a lot helpful..." Ummmm no editor on this book I guess. Save yourself, not worth an hour or $5 or a credit- I promise!

Historia
Anyone who saw an episode of Saturday Night Live between 1999 and 2006 knows Rachel Dratch. She was hilarious! So what happened to her? After a misbegotten part as Jenna on the pilot of 30 Rock, Dratch was only getting offered roles as "Lesbians. Secretaries. Sometimes secretaries who are lesbians." Her career at a low point, Dratch suddenly had time for yoga, dog- sitting, learning Spanish - and dating. After all, what did a forty-something single woman living in New York have to lose?

Honest, give her props for that!
Revisado: 10-01-14
Where does Not That Kind of Girl rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I always like the author to read their own book when it comes to bios and professional performers.
What did you like best about this story?
She is completely honest, and whether that makes you like her, or dislike her, she puts it all out there.
What about Lena Dunham’s performance did you like?
Her timing is great.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Feeling like an outsider is common for so many people, she nails that feeling of never quite fitting in.
Any additional comments?
Lena is just a bit younger then my generation, she's not quite young enough to be my daughter, but not quite old enough to grow up the way it did (no computers in our home, no texting or cell phones, ect). It's hard for me to really say she is the younger generation, but there are defining things that separate us. Yet, I know many of the feelings she experiences, feeling like an outsider, feeling like you will never be good enough, longing for something you will never be. The more extreme things she faces, OCD, meds, snorting coke on a Tuesday night, not my life, but I get it. When Girls first aired, I said (along with many others), this is the new Sex In The City. Lena, is the new Carrie Bradshaw, but much more honest and real, sometimes to the point of being uncomfortable, but she doesn't really care about making others feel uncomfortable in her honesty and I admire that a great deal!

Historia
In 2007, Roz Savage set out to row 8,000 miles across the Pacific Ocean—alone. Despite having successfully rowed across the Atlantic the previous year, the Pacific presented the former office worker with unprecedented challenges and overpowering currents—both in the water and within herself. Crossing Earth’s largest ocean alone might seem a long way removed from everyday life, yet the lessons Roz learned about the inner journey, the ocean, and the world are relevant to all of us.
