So good- and the narration was excellent
Revisado: 01-13-25
Some of the novels that Dennis had written over the years have been dark. Some too dark to enjoy. This one is dark, but the story so compelling that it makes up for it. Hard truths are sometimes difficult to accept in minds that need entertainment such as my own. This is a damn fine listen.

Listened to end. Too dark and too much ugliness. Well written but too dark. Won’t look for a sequel

A surprisingly objective account. Excellent
Revisado: 06-04-24
Rarely, do I come across a book published by any church which is objective. The history of the Mormons is shaded with all sorts of problems and this book faces them head on. Ready for the next in the sequence. Loved this one.

Historia
When a 70-year-old woman finds a five-year-old girl abandoned on her doorstep, she is thrust into a sorrowful past that can only be conquered with the help of the girl who opened her memory - the very girl she is trying to save. This first novel, according to author Jacquelyn Mitchard, is one of "exquisite power, honesty, and conviction...quite nearly without flaws."

Pitiful story telling. Disappointed. First Adrian McKinty that bored me. The narration is superb.
This was just so dull, the girl too pretty, and of course she is dying to screw the main character.
