Historia
Lily and her ex-husband, Ryle, have just settled into a civil coparenting rhythm when she suddenly bumps into her first love, Atlas, again. After nearly two years separated, she is elated that for once, time is on their side, and she immediately says yes when Atlas asks her on a date. But her excitement is quickly hampered by the knowledge that, though they are no longer married, Ryle is still very much a part of her life—and Atlas Corrigan is the one man he will hate being in his ex-wife and daughter’s life.

Too Cheesy!
Revisado: 01-30-25
Not half as good as the first novel. It was actually quite boring! Ok. So Atlas is just a PERFECT man. We get it. Ryle doesn't really have much of a role in this one. Too much lovey dovey stuff repeated over and over. Not quite sure why his little brother was added. I don't know. It just seemed parts were so drawn out.

Horribly Disappointing
Revisado: 09-17-22
I purchased this book based on all the raving reviews. I found this to be the absolute most uneventful BORING book. It was brutal to get through, always hoping it would get better. Terrible! Sorry!

Historia
Folks in Moab live for ice cream socials, baseball, and the local paper’s weekly gossip column. Sheriff Winston Browne has watched over Moab with a generous eye for a decade, and by now he’s used to handling the daily dramas that keep life interesting for Moab’s quirky residents. But just after Winston receives some terrible, life-altering news, a seemingly mute runaway with no clear origin arrives in Moab. The residents do what they believe is right and take her in - until two suspicious strangers arrive and begin looking for her.

Completely Confused ?
Revisado: 08-14-22
I purchased this book based on the 4-5 star ratings and read the great reviews. I may be writing this review prematurely, But am really struggling to get through this. It is terribly boring. I am going to plow through and hope things tie together, doesn't help I am not a baseball fan lol. Crossing my fingers this gets better, but with only 4hrs remaining, not hopeful.

Another Great Book By Eskens!
Revisado: 04-05-22
This is my 2nd book by this author. He is 2/2! Definitely going to Book 3. Some great twists which kept me from wanting to shut it off. Gave 4 stars because the narrator was a bit dull and emotionless? But also easy on the ears.

Couldn't Finish. Yawn.
Revisado: 03-28-22
This book was nothing like the first. The main character just yaks yaks yaks, talking about, nothing! The narrator's voice eventually became nails on a chalk board. Had to quit halfway through.

Historia
The year is 1878, peak of the Texas cattle trade. The place is Dodge City, Kansas, a saloon-filled cow town jammed with liquored-up adolescent cowboys and young Irish hookers. Violence is random and routine, but when the burned body of a mixed-blood boy named Johnnie Sanders is discovered, his death shocks a part-time policeman named Wyatt Earp. And it is a matter of strangely personal importance to Doc Holliday, the frail 26-year-old dentist who has just opened an office at No. 24, Dodge House.

Very Hard To Get Through
Revisado: 12-28-21
From the minute the narrator starting talking, I almost returned this book. I am on Chapter 13 now, taking a pause to re-read the negative reviews to make sure it's not just me! Her reading is like she is reading to a kindergarten class! Start. Period. Stop. Period. Words are over -pronunciated, and like a few other listeners, instead of slowing the book DOWN to .95, this one I have to speed UP to 1.5 just to make it bearable to get through! Listen to the sample before buying! However, I like the storyline so far that I'm going to rely on all the positive reviews and make it through! 😀

Left More Questions Than Answers
Revisado: 12-27-21
This book just kept hopping around. The narrator's voice was kind of annoying, her sentences ended more like questions. Don't waste your money on this one. I bought it because it had good reviews, but I felt it left out the story of the main characters life, just giving bits and pieces. Horrible ending. Just my opinion
