Not worth the credit

Story was good but the ending was such a let down! It made the story a big let down.
Without giving any spoilers I'll just say that it isn't worth spending a credit or purchase.
I love the narrator & he truly is the only reason I finished listening!

Amazing book! Make sure that you have a box of tissues. The way Molly touched on serious issues is spot on. Thank you Ms. McAdams for this book & the way you handled it. I am a survivor of child molestation and of being raped as as a young adult. Unfortunately there's more cover ups out in the world than people believe. My sister also is a rape survivor. It took 14 years to bring him to justice but she got her justice(he kidnapped her so it was federal) She was lucky to have a version of a "Reed" and they've been married for about 30 years now!

too much heartache for one person to go through & come out sane! I get the angst & villains, etc etc. but the poor girl didn't even know where babies come from at 19. yes this was way back in the day but still. she basically grew up in a healing house & was friends with her late Father's mistress. Patricia Rice this was a let down to you magic series! even the ones that took place in similar time! write more of those! unfortunately I have to go through audible because it causes me migraines to read now.

1) Narrator sounds way to young for this book.
2) The book itself would be a teen book of you leave out the awkward cursing & the sex. ( it made me feel uncomfortable to listen to the young sounding Narrator read this!)
3) The author tried but I really don't think that she had a lot of experience.
4) To the author, please don't put a curse word in the middle of a sentence just to make it seem tougher. It just makes it awkward. Thank you

This would be a kid's or teen series if it weren't for the severe cursing! The narrator sounds like she's a kid & does semi all right at voices. Except the Male roles. Some sound like little kids but are in their twenties. She needs to stay with teen books. Also she sounds as if she has gum in her mouth through out the whole box set.
The story has a good plot but to many unnecessary cursing. Also the explanations for back stories are just stupid & hard to follow. And again I feel like the cursing was put in as fillers & was just to make it be more adult sounding.
