Historia
This fascinating book is far more than a compilation of ghost stories. The Ghost Studies provides scientific explanations for paranormal occurrences. Included are new and exciting scientific theories that explain apparitions, hauntings, and communications from the dead, and the latest research on the role of energy and electricity in hauntings.

Interesting theories based on unproven science.

"Spoilers ahead"
Some of the ideas in this book sound interesting but there is no proof that these events really happened or that they even could happen. The main idea to this book is that ghosts and hauntings might be emotional trauma imprinted on an area and not an actual spirit. My biggest problem with this is there is no proof that emotions can be recorded and then attached to an area. What is the emotion attached to, subspace or some physic alternate reality? The idea's fall apart the moment logic is introduced to the subject. Unless I slept through part of the book that explains this, there's just no way to take these theories seriously.

Most of this book is about Dan's career and has little info about what the title promises. After about 4 hours of this I gave up on this book and returned it, I am not interested in Dan's life.
