Historia
At once a powerful evocation of his early life in Harlem and a disturbing examination of the consequences of racial injustice to both the individual and the body politic, James Baldwin galvanized the nation in the early days of the civil rights movement with this eloquent manifesto. The Fire Next Time stands as one of the essential works of our literature.

James Baldwin is incredible.
Revisado: 03-16-23
Baldwins perspectives help me see clearer and understand better, the things that I otherwise have no source to show me. I am forever grateful for his writings, his bravery to live and be plain with his words, and his life.

This audiobook taught me how to better evaluate my own needs, and how to communicate those needs to others so that they can receive and understand my message. It doesn’t make them do what I want, or enforce any specific behavior. It does help ensure that everyone can walk away from a conversation having understood what took place and why. I feel equipped to communicate more effectively both at work and at home.
