I am loving the story but......

Two books in and it does feel more like an advertisement for many companies and geek culture. How many checks is the writer cashing with this one. but all that aside the characters are amazing and the story is fun.

The story so far.

Picked this up after hearing Underworld and Dead and horny. Seeing Annabelle turning it into a larger universe is so neat and this was more of a "Come for the story stay foe the spicy bits." Still a great listen and the VAs did an amazing job even if you can hear some extra background noise at times.

Great series hoping for it to continue.

was skeptical at first, but found the whole series to be an awesome listen. Cast felt natural and story was a great mix of suspense and quirk. Only gripe, to many reference drops like they bought ad space but it's a stupid gripe.
