Historia
Rich Dad Poor Dad is Robert's story of growing up with two dads - his real father and the father of his best friend, his rich dad - and the ways in which both men shaped his thoughts about money and investing. The book explodes the myth that you need to earn a high income to be rich and explains the difference between working for money and having your money work for you. In the 20th anniversary edition of this classic, Robert offers an update on what we’ve seen over the past 20 years related to money, investing, and the global economy.

Great book. Teaches through stories.
Revisado: 08-08-22
This is a great book. I read the original many years ago. I especially like the format where the teaching is done through stories. It also includes, through the Audible app, the diagrams and images.

Virtually incomprehensible without the diagrams.
Revisado: 07-27-22
this book is basically impossible to understand the finer points without the diagrams that are often mentioned throughout the book. however at the last of the book maybe with two or three minutes left they tell you a website to go to to get the diagrams. this is an oversight on Audibles part to not have the diagrams available and on the books part for not mentioning sooner in the book where to get the diagrams. anyone who ever bought this audiobook deserves a refund.

Historia
As the Psalms take us into the heart of David, so do Proverbs, Ecclesiastes and the Song of Songs take us into the heart of Solomon. The book of Proverbs fits squarely into the genre of “advice to a son” literature. In this book Solomon offers advice to his son, advice to a young man going out into the world for the first time.

Historia
I’ve been in this life for fifty years, been trying to work out its riddle for forty-two, and been keeping diaries of clues to that riddle for the last thirty-five. Notes about successes and failures, joys and sorrows, things that made me marvel, and things that made me laugh out loud. How to be fair. How to have less stress. How to have fun. How to hurt people less. How to get hurt less. How to be a good man. How to have meaning in life. How to be more me. Recently, I worked up the courage to sit down with those diaries.

The audiobook is definitely better than the hard copy version. Matthew McConaughey does such a good job reading his own work it really brings out an extra dimension to the book. excellent and entertaining read, highly recommended.

Historia
Plenty of experts argue that anyone who wants to develop a skill, play an instrument, or lead their field should start early, focus intensely, and rack up as many hours of deliberate practice as possible. But a closer look at research on the world’s top performers shows that early specialization is the exception, not the rule. David Epstein examined the world’s most successful athletes, artists, musicians, inventors, forecasters and scientists. He discovered that in most fields—especially those that are complex and unpredictable—generalists, not specialists, are primed to excel.

The point of the book could be conveyed in a pamphlet. The author included a lot of stories that we're at times meaningful and at other times redundant.

Very little meat and a lot of fluff.
Revisado: 04-18-16
Book was okay. There were many times I was exasperated with the repetitive stories. Book is not really a helpful guide; it's more of a feel good, you can do it book. It was nice that it pertrayed ADD/ADHD in a positive light. I am so glad the book is now over.
