voices for male characters is brutal to listen to

I'm 2hrs in to this 8 1/2hr audiobook and the impersonations for every male character is excruciating. Every person that's tried listening to it with me agrees it just sounds hooky and bad. It'll pull you out of whatever is being described. Hope i can continue.

It's great this is finally released on audiobook. The sound of the voice actor is a little comical, tho.

It's like listening to Bernie Sanders ..... or Larry David voicing George Steinbrenner in "Seinfeld."

This is disappointing for a Flintstone fan.

The title is ???Yabba Dabba Doo!??? yet the section devoted to details and trivia about that show was less than 30 mins. Kinda bummed and would have liked more. I guess it???s cool for those that want to hear clips of all the shows Alan Reed worked on in his career. I had to skip to nearly the end the locate the (in my opinion) yabba-dabba-doo-worthy material.

Steve-O narrates 1st 53mins then you get a new guy

Sort of deceptive. I???m enjoying the audiobook but 53 mins into it Steve-O announces he???ll no longer be reading it and then hands it over to some other narrator. What the hell?
It???s weird trying to adjust to it now that I???ve been used to hearing the actual author talk. Would this be an example of bait and switch? It does says Narrated by Stephen "Steve-O" Glover.
Steve-O, liking the book so far but sad to say as a consumer I am disappointed. (so far 5 stars for content but overall 2 for lame decision on replacement)

waste. aweful. doesn't make sense. unbearable to listen to. i skipped ahead to each chapter and couldn't understand any of it.

Not designed as an audio program!

What I have discovered about this publisher: World Wide Multi Media, is that their audiobook titles are actually the audio track from dvd productions.
They are not programs designed for a listening only audience!!
These aren't audio programs derived from a written book, they are a free-flowing interviews from some type of tv show "Hour of Our Time Show."

I quit listening once it introduced that it was going to play a video for the audience that went on with music and no narration.

Completely inappropriate as an audio feature. I could understand if it was adapted as a listening program, but it isn't at all. Infuriating. Rip off!!
Save your money. If you really want it, look for it in dvd format because that's the only way you'll understand these "World Wide Multi Media" audiobooks.

These are not audio programs derived from a written book, they are a free-flowing interviews from some type of tv show that has several, several points where the host says, "take a look at this (video) clip." Or the program references picture after picture without explaining what is being seen. Completely inappropriate as an audio feature. I could understand if it was adapted as a listening program, but it isn't at all. Infuriating. Rip off!!
Save your money. If you really want it, look for it in dvd format because that's the only way you will understand these World Wide Multi Media audiobooks. Or if feel you need the audio experience watch it on youtube and close your eyes and see if you enjoy it. Guaranteed you'll want to open your eyes.
