If you could sum up Descended from Dragons: An Urban Fantasy in three words, what would they be?

Magic, Mayhem, and Attitude

Have you listened to any of Elizabeth Phillips’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

First time and loved her!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

excising the demon, no spoilers you have to listen.

Any additional comments?

Anne (do not be fooled by the mundane name) leads an “interesting” life. Living in a cured pawnshop in Las Vegas, she is possibly the last of her family and kind (sorcerer descended from dragons) she has the ability to summon a dragon familiar. Unfortunately, by feeding Lucky (her familiar) she risks being lost to her other self and becoming a dragon, then she would end up destroying everything in her path (and possibly a few that weren’t). Oh and her best friend Melanie is a monkey shifter. Despite the supernatural overtones Anne’s life is mundane, she runs the pawn shop (which is full of cursed items), hangs with her bestie, and wonders if she will ever find a date. That changes when an attractive man brings in a gargoyle statue that is not what it seems and sets her off on a mission to free the shifter inside from a demon. To accomplish this takes a slew of interesting friends, a lot of trouble, and some extreme dragon power; however, on the way she finds romance so it all seems worth it (even if she is convinced she is not getting the whole truth). This story pulls you in to a side of “Sin City” that is eerily plausible. Engrossing storyline with wondrously quirky characters that suck you in and hold until the end. I cannot wait for the next one!
Elizabeth Philips has a wonderful voice! Very clear diction and warm smooth tone, a great pleasure to listen to.

Where does Ride rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

One of my favorites

What was one of the most memorable moments of Ride?

The scene in the field, where things get "interrupted" shall I say

Which character – as performed by Erin Mallon – was your favorite?

have to be Felicity, sounded exactly how I imagined

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

ahh not sure

Any additional comments?

Episode 1: Awakenings
Felicity Forest has a great, although lonely, life; she has friends that are like family and a job that she loves and pays the bills. The only downside is she still suffers from the aftermath of an ended emotionally abusive relationship and has trust issues. She take an assignment to investigate a supposed Puca haunting on Inis Mor and gets much more than she bargained for when she meets Niall O’Leary. Tall, Dark, and handsome doesn’t even begin to describe the sex god, and she has trouble accepting he sees anything in her, but what he sees gets his stallion going and he soon follows its lead…but he rushes it and she leaves him high and dry, not to mention VERY unfulfilled, standing naked in a field. WOW! Amazing start to this serial cannot wait to read the rest!
Episode 2: The Bet
Felicity’s memory of the night before, when she rode Niall and left him in the field, has been erased. She still does not realize he is a Puca. Nevertheless, Niall is fully on board with his stallion in taking her for a mate now. Meanwhile the investigation into the rising of the veil continues but has not revealed much, only that it is somehow tied to the local priest and his brother and that the witness to the hauntings is lying about it! Niall and Felicity grow closer and he realizes he much tell her who and what he is and convince her not to write the article that would expose him and his people; he returns her memories but she insists that she needs to see the stallion…and that’s where it leaves off for part , now I have literary blue balls!
Episode 3: Out Cold
OMG!! Deceit, deception, misdirection, allies? Enemies? Just when Felicity and Niall think they may have a good lead on what is happening with the veil they discover they have been lied to and misled. He convinces her to come to dinner and more than the stove gets hot! Unfortunately, worse than a bucket of ice water Fallon calls to tell Niall Maeliosa is missing. He and Tomas go to search and Felicity receives a message to meet the injured construction worker Dillon at a secluded location, stating that he has physical proof. Fearing he may mean Maeliosa, she sets off without Niall and realizes too late going alone was a really bad idea. WOW! Kept me engrossed until the last page, could not put it down!
Episode 4: The Veil
Felicity and Maeliosa find themselves held captive by Caitlyn and Dillion and the word kill is being bandied about. Fearing Niall will not find them in time; Felicity is determined to not become a victim to greed (Archer wants the Puca exposed to bring in tourists to his resort) and decides to try to rescue herself and Maeliosa. Maeliosa makes it but Felicity is grabbed by Archer and then beaten by Dillion and her only thoughts were that she might never get to tell Niall she loves him and wants to be his mate. I am not saying if Niall makes it or not, have to read it but I will say WOW! Great ending! Kept me engrossed until the last page, could not put it down! Looking forward to season 2 for Cyn’s story!

Where does Tactical Magik rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It's up there with some of my favorites!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Too many to pick just one.

What about Topher Samuels’s performance did you like?

Awesome voice, very enjoyable to listen to.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes and I did!

Any additional comments?

Eadan doesn’t want a mate yet, or so he says ( I think he complains just a little too much). When PSI pulls him off the Immortal Ops team for a solo mission he’s surprised the target turns out to be his mate, and rather proud she’s managed to ditch 3 teams already! In true Ops fashion trouble hits like a ton of bricks within moments of finding her and Eadan and Inara are captured, luckily together and turns out Eadan isn’t the only magic empowered by sexual energy! As always a great storyline and fantastic characters you’ll want to read again and again, even though these can be stand alone I highly recommend reading in order to get the most out it! Happy reading!
Topher Samuels has a great voice, smooth with clear diction and great character differentiation

Would you listen to Securing Sara again? Why?

Definitely ! Fun story and awesome narrator.

What other book might you compare Securing Sara to and why?

Of course the other beast master books, and Dragon Lord series by Michelle Pillow has similar genre and writing style.

What about Kitty Silver’s performance did you like?

Beautiful crisp, clear, voice

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Sara finally realized the magnitude of her fiery decision to be in the House of Pleasure

Any additional comments?

Jaston and Malock are both suffering from “the heat” a condition afflicting their race which causes them to lose all humanity and be stuck in beast form (also casing friends or loved ones to hunt down and destroy them), unless they can find their mate. Lucky for them creepy fish men just show up with a load of women to sell, including Sara. Unfortunately for Jaston Sara is not the shrinking violet type and with a fiery temper to rival her hair she rebukes him and Malock both, choosing a life of prostitution out of spite. Of course her resolve crumbles when it hits home what that life would entail! Steamy short with entertaining storyline and amusing characters. Kitty Silver had a great voice, loved the accent, and fit Sara to a T! Not as good with the male characters but enough differentiation to keep it flowing and entertaining!

What did you love best about Reconstructed: Building a Hero?

I loved the change in West, going from total jerk to hero.

What other book might you compare Reconstructed: Building a Hero to and why?

Can't think of any other books quite like this.

What does Mason Lloyd bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I absolutely adore Mason Lloyd ' s voice it really brings out the characters and allows visualization you can't get while reading.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The whole story was entrancing but that first glimpse of who West could be when Cord tricked him I to meeting the kids who would be receiving the Med Pro prosthetics really got me.

Any additional comments?

Westley Worthington is a first class a**hole and major player, the only reason Cordelia keeps working for him is Medical Prosthetics a subsidiary of Worthington Enterprises, and her sisters only hope of walking again. Unfortunately, Med Pro is losing money and West wants to sell it, Cordelia vows to convince him not to and in the process uncovers a side of him she never thought could exist, and she starts falling for him. Strangely enough West starts seeing Cordelia as far more his type than previous conquests. Just when things start heating up and getting serious espionage leaves West facing death. Great story full of suspense, action (not all of it in bedroom), romance, government plots, fascinating characters, and an entertaining story line guaranteed to delight cover to cover!!
Mason Lloyd is my favorite narrator, I could spend hours listening to him, oh wait I have! He has a wonderfully clear voice with great diction and tone, and he does an awesome job differentiating between characters!

Where does Bosun rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

To many favorites but definitely top 20

What did you like best about this story?

Love the Winter Valley Wolves! Bosun makes the perfect sweet bad boy!

What does Ramona Master bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Her voice was great, really brought out Devon 's personality

Any additional comments?

Devon has a plan, or at least she thought she did; save a few bucks, move to Paris France, fall in love and live happily after. But she was already beginning to question if that was what she really wanted when Bosun literally collided with her. They flirt, date, and Bosun falls for Devon faster and harder than his truck rear ended her car. Devon falls just as hard but when Bosun explains they are true mates and what is required by him and that she must turn to be with him, Devon does not think she can do the werewolf thing so instead she lets him go…or tries to. Great story and perfect addition to the Mating Season Collection. Highly recommend it!
Ramona Masters has a great voice, clear, great diction , awesome tone, and very easy to listen to.

Where does Warrior Prince rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Top Ten! Along with the other Dragon Lords series!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Warrior Prince?

So many memorable parts too hard to have just one!

What does Sarah Van Sweden bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Although great with the female voices, not so good with the males so really didn't feel she added to the overall experience of reading.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Both!

Any additional comments?

Odd match but definitely two kindred souls; assassin for hire Pia and Captain of the Guard (and Draig Prince) Zoran find themselves matched by his crystal at the Draig breeding festival but they seem to be at odds from the very beginning. He finds her unbelievably beautiful but she feels she is ugly and undesirable and believes he chooses her as some sick joke. It takes, worries of war, a kidnapped princess, poisonings, near fatal attacks on royalty, enemy spies, and a thankfully interfering queen to bring these two stubborn warriors to middle ground where they find that all that fire is much more enjoyable focused on foreplay rather than swordplay. This is one of my favorite installments of the Dragon Lord series and if you haven’t read it I highly recommend it, the characters are extremely lovable and the story and dialog are not to be missed!
Sarah Von Sweden has a sweet, clear, light voice; works well with female characters but not always the best for the males. Overall she did a great job with differentiation, diction and was a great pleasure to listen to.

What made the experience of listening to Loup Garou the most enjoyable?

perfect match for female main character!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Lindsey! Love her attitude, even if she's a little dense when it comes to Xavier

Which character – as performed by Rachel Vivette – was your favorite?

Again Lindsey, Rachel Vivette was exactly how I imagined her sounding!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Definitely!

Any additional comments?

Great read, a few laughs, a few tears, and plenty of steam!
One of Mandy's best, I loved the characters and the story line and the crypt scene...WOW! If you need to nitpick yes the heroine did seem a bit dense in not recognizing her childhood love but maybe she was just unwilling to accept it with what had happened when they were young. That said, this was a great read, easy to get engrossed in; a few laughs, a few tears, and just the right amount of steam this is definitely on my reread list and I really hope the series continues.
Rachel Vivette has a great voice, fit the main character to a T! Not as good for the males but very clear and pleasant to listen too.

If you could sum up Dark Prince: Dragon Lords Anniversary Edition in three words, what would they be?

live, love, laugh

What did you like best about this story?

I love the interaction of the characters, the dialog is often humorous and full of miscommunication

What does Mason Lloyd bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Mason Lloyd has one of the best voices I've heard in audio books, brings across the emotion in the words.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

too many to write here!

Any additional comments?

Prince Yusef of Draig is hoping to find his life mate, what he finds is Olena. Olena is on the run and hitches a ride on Galaxy Brides thinking she can escape, get pampered for a few months, lay low as a “wife” then unite with her crew and carry on as she always has. But darn fate, neither gets what they are expecting, they share an immediate attraction, but they have very different ideas about what to do about it. Olena spurns Yusef constantly and while trying to beat him manages to put her life in danger and he has to save her instead. This is problematic to the very independent Olena who has always taken care of herself (she was raised as a pirate and has never known love due to a very tragic history). She finds herself more than just attracted to Yusef although she tries very hard to fight it, until he is attacked and almost dies causing her to start admitting to herself she wants to stay with him. Like all the Dragon Lords the story is great and intertwines with the other prince’s stories (from different points of view), the characters are easy to fall in love with (especially the clueless, hot guys!), and it’s got enough surprises to make It a fun ride. Love the book and the series!
Mason Lloyd is an awesome narrator, he has a great voice to listen to and does a great job speaking clearly and differentiating between characters!

Would you listen to Executive Decision: Falling for Him, Book 1 again? Why?

Definitely! Great story and Sarah Van Sweden was a joy to listen to.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Dale, despite his stupid moments, he was such a caring and patient character

Which scene was your favorite?

Have to be the end with the trash can when realization hit

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

yes and I did!

Any additional comments?

Engaging story of two people in love but afraid to own up to it, mostly for fear of losing the other, both Liz and Dale have to fight through, past heartache, jealousy, fear of commitment, social stigma, and stupid little digs from the other not meant to harm but did, to embrace the fact they love each other and can't live without the other. Lots of laugh and cry moments and characters I'd love to get to know delivered in and enticing story I couldn't leave till the end!Sarah Van Sweden was a delight to listen to, great voice, wonderful job in differentiating the characters and fantastic way of getting the emotion across as she read.
