This release is disappointing
Revisado: 06-10-21
I'll lead off with saying that I really do enjoy this overall story, but feels like the ball was dropped here. First, the narrator changed, and as from you can read here, it's a dramatic change. All the personality that was built up with the characters after the previous books, combined with a 'part 1' release for this book, is more of a slap in the face to the fans more than anything.
The way I see it, if there was such a significant change in narrators, then book 6 should have been released as one audiobook, instead of doing 'part 1' and 'part 2', making it look like breaking up content to pull more money out of the pockets of fans. At this point, I'm probably going to drop the series, which is unfortunate, because I really enjoyed what was being done in these books.
I won't lie, these things on their own wouldn't be enough for me to have an significant issue with. I won't say the narrator delivered an unacceptable performance, it's just a drastic change in range where the characters felt completely different. With a 13 hour audio book, it is a decent listen, but feels a little disrespectful to the fans, book 1 19 hours, book 2 21 hours, book 3, 20 hours, book 4 24 hours, book 5 26 hours, then all of a sudden, cut the hours in half from the previous release. When you ask fans to deal with a significant change, like change of narrators, the last thing you should do is appear like you are gouging your dedicated customers.

Historia
Earth is safe for now, with it came some much needed surprises. Though if Salchar was expecting a break he’s in for a rude awakening, well he’s already done that once...but anyway. Lady Fairgate has sensed something has gone wrong at Parnmal. Thinking that Jorsht is now trying to carve out his own little kingdom, she sends Captain Kelu, one of her favourite enforcers with the largest Syndicate Fleet assembled since the Syndicate and the Union went head to head.

I was happy with this series....
Revisado: 03-31-20
then this book happened. @5 hours, 13 minutes, 40 seconds I lost all interest in this series. I highly doubt that I will finish this series because of what happened at this time stamp. The fact that up until this point, he was making the "hard decisions", sacrificing friends, then all of a sudden, for a bunch of nobodies, he puts the whole fleet at risk.
All for a small plot line, you destroyed the over-arching story, completely losing all respect I had for the MC.

Don't beleive my reviews, DO NOT GET INTO THIS
Revisado: 03-07-19
I loved the books, up to book 4, entertained fully by the series, unfortunately, this is where it falls apart. I can't find book 5, audiobook or hardcover, i've searched and searched, and nothing. The only thing I have seen is the author telling his fans to contact the distributor over this matter.
That's fine and all, but I can't buy book 5. So I was left on a cliffhanger, and no way to alleviate said cliff hanger. This is exactly why I avoid titles series that aren't complete, because more often than not, authors leave the books on a cliffhanger, and you are left hoping they actually finish their series.
Say no to Tamer until this is resolved. I know the book is finished, as people have read it and left reviews on amazon and goodreads, you just can't buy it. It's stupid, I want to throw my money at Mr. Earle, but I can't find a way to do so.

Historia
Olgerd and his tribal NPC gang have finally discovered the Forbidden City. Problem is, they haven't found what they were looking for. The ancient maps are hopelessly out of date, and the Ennan capital city is lying in ruins. In the meantime, their enemies are closing in. Noctean hordes are arriving from the Silver Mountain Valley; the Dark army has already crossed the Back Stream, and the forces of Light have already entered the Icy Woods. The magic protection sphere which Olgerd received from the city's invisible guardians is about to expire....

Ending.... .... ?
Revisado: 05-03-18
I loved the series, even enjoyed most of this book. Unfortunately, the ending of the book just killed it for me, leaving a very bitter feeling in the end. Should have ended the book about an hour and a half earlier. the last bit was basically adding fuel to a fire, then dousing it with water right when you are ready to start cooking.
