What started as a series of short mysteries for the curious mind with a short attention span has evolved into enlightening conversations for the not-so-short attention span. Whether it’s a short mystery, a long conversation, or an audio book, The Way I Heard It is a veritable box of chocolates for the ears, because you never know what you’re going to get.

Very Interesting
Revisado: 02-06-24
I do enjoy the way I heard it. The discussion afterwards was also enjoyable and entertaining.
Just a side note - when you sing the song about "5 lousy stars" it makes me not want to write a review. if the stars are so lousy then why even put them at all? I wrote a review today because I did enjoy this new format. Also, I do normally enjoy the show and would most likely give you at least 4 stars and only 5 stars for coffee with mom(just kidding, it would always be 5 stars for you Mike.)

Listen to Charles C.W. Cooke
Revisado: 03-27-23
Since there wasn't a review for this podcast I have taken the liberty to write the first. Charles Cooke takes a very level minded but deeply thought out approach to many of our everyday obstacles and discussions. He has immigrated himself to America and has become a citizen who loves this country and has taken an oath to uphold and defend the constitution and our rights. His positive perspective and common sense directed podcast will have you listening to each one and waiting for the next.

Historia
Pioneers of Britain's nascent rock and metal scene back in the late 1970s, Iron Maiden smashed its way to the top, thanks in no small part to the high-octane performances, operatic singing style, and stage presence of its second but twice-longest-serving lead singer, Bruce Dickinson. As Iron Maiden's front man - first from 1981 to 1993 and then from 1999 to the present - Dickinson has been, and remains, a man of legend.

Good autobiography - especially for a fan

Its was good. Needs a part 2. I'm glad Bruce narrated his own autobiography. What a life of ups and downs. No performance issues.

Historia
In this work on a subject too often dismissed as paranormal or disreputable, Jeffrey Meldrum gives us the first book on Sasquatch to be written by a scientist with impeccable academic credentials. He gives an objective look at the facts in a field mined with hoaxes and sensationalism. Meldrum reports on the work of a team of experts from a wide variety of fields who were assembled to examine the evidence for a large, yet undiscovered, North American primate. He reviews the long history of this mystery and explains all the scientific pros and cons in a clear and accessible style.

Great Pastor and wonderful narration
Revisado: 09-21-22
Its really easy to read the whole bible in a year when pastor Nicky Gumbel explains it out before reading the bible passages. Once finished I will most likely start over again. This is also available on The Bible app.

Historia
It is the greatest American underdog sports story ever told: how a team of college kids and unsigned amateurs, under the tutelage of legendary coach - and legendary taskmaster - Herb Brooks, beat the elite Soviet hockey team on their way to winning the gold medal at the 1980 Lake Placid Olympics. No one believed the scrappy Americans had a real shot at winning. Despite being undefeated, the US - the youngest team in the competition - were facing off against the four-time defending gold medalist Russians.

Good overall book, neat adventure, amazing advice
Revisado: 05-05-22
Wasn't to keen about Guy, he came off as a dainty Scotsman with too many emotions but maybe that was more the British voice actor. Steve West did well but would have been better with a bit more Scottish accent. The writing of the story is pretty well done. I was amazed at Guy's accomplishment and really enjoyed the many words of advice that he shared which his Alaskan friends gave him. The story pulls you in and you want a sequel.

Historia
Peter Schweizer says that, in a quarter-century as an investigative journalist, this is the scariest investigation he has ever conducted. That the Chinese government seeks to infiltrate American institutions is hardly surprising. What is wholly new, however, are the number of American elites who are eager to help the Chinese dictatorship in its quest for global hegemony.
