Historia
HBO changed how stories could be told on TV. The Sopranos, Sex and the City, The Wire, Game of Thrones. The network’s meteoric rise heralded the second golden age of television with serialized shows that examined and reflected American anxieties, fears, and secret passions through complicated characters who were flawed and often unlikable.

Important and Engrossing

A worthwhile, seminal read on the trajectory of HBO. We’ll researched with great characters and structure. I enjoyed it greatly. Also, a worthy historical read for the next gen!

Powerful, vivid and engrossing
Revisado: 03-25-23
This remarkable autobiography, narrated with warmth and energy by the author, is moving and engrossing. Ambroz shares his story (stories) in a way that brings homelessness into focus that you won’t soon forget. Insights on the foster care system and on the challenge of children coping with the unstable adults in their lives help paint a more vivid and realistic picture of the challenges we face in supporting all kids. Told with candor, warmth and honesty.
I’m a frequent doubter when it comes to readers of audio books. They can make or break an experience. Too often the effect is mechanical. David Ambroz is the opposite. I couldn’t have imagined Ed a more effective reader.

Historia
It is easy to condemn obvious wrongdoers such as Elizabeth Holmes, Adam Neumann, Harvey Weinstein, and the Sackler family. But we rarely think about the many people who supported their unethical or criminal behavior. In each case there was a supporting cast of complicitors: business partners, employees, investors, news organizations, and others. And, whether we’re aware of it or not, almost all of us have been complicit in the unethical behavior of others. In Complicit, Harvard Business School professor Max Bazerman confronts our complicity head-on.

Excellent examination of the challenge of complicity with compelling case examinations and real world reflections
Revisado: 01-11-23
Complicit to is engaging and thought provoking. Wide ranging in its case histories, I found the book gave me a lot to reflect on in my own work and personal life. You realize how present “complicity” can be in the choices we make as we navigate our relationships and think in new ways about our responsibilities.
