I really hope this turns into film one day. It’s beautifully written, I love the imagery, the slow burn, and honestly everything about the book. The book keeps you on planet Ace.

Soul soothers

One of the series you read that make you sad to complete because it’s soo good. Stumbled across this series and fell in love with Jacinta Howard’s writing. I was deterred at first from negative comments however I’m happy I gave it a listen to form my own review. As a music lover and romance junkie, I thoroughly enjoyed this series. Great series so for escapism if you’re having a rough week!

Very slow, slow burn

This book took me weeks to finish because I kept getting bored but didn’t want to waste the credit I used. Love a good slow burn but not THIS slow. Great audiobook however to pair with mundane tasks or as background audio for completing work. Overall I feel as though the story line could have been cut shorter.

This is my 5th book by Love Belvin and I just want to know why she picks one great narrator and pairs them with a terrible narrator. The female narrator sounds like a news anchor trying to be hood. I listened to this book first because I love CCJ and wanted to listen to the second novel in the series. I honestly should have just started there.

I really enjoyed the story until the male narrator began reading. I tried to struggle through it but it literally made me cringe every time he began speaking. I just don’t understand why authors continue to use him when his reviews are so bad. I love a long audiobook and even longer series, therefore I was so excited to come across this series by Love Belvin. However, I may have to show my support through reading to truly dive into the books.
