Historia
Olivia McAfee knows what it feels like to start over. Her picture-perfect life—living in Boston, married to a brilliant cardiothoracic surgeon, raising their beautiful son, Asher—was upended when her husband revealed a darker side. She never imagined that she would end up back in her sleepy New Hampshire hometown, living in the house she grew up in and taking over her father’s beekeeping business. Lily Campanello is familiar with do-overs, too. When she and her mom relocate to Adams, New Hampshire, for her final year of high school, they both hope it will be a fresh start.

Historia
When Michelle Damiani dreamed of living in Italy, she imagined her family as it was in Virginia - her husband filling every moment with work, her teenage son experimenting with sarcasm, her daughter smiling at the scent of lilacs, her baby-cheeked son methodically clicking Legos together, and herself hovering over the happiness of them all - only surrounded by ancient cobblestone alleys and the sound of ringing Italian. What she didn't know was how Italy would work to change them all.

Condescending tone from narrator and author
Revisado: 11-21-22
Would have loved it if it didn’t have so much expat America bashing and annoying end of chapter quips.

Narrator - terrible and condescending inflection
Revisado: 04-09-22
The narrator read the story in two sentence sections like a nature narration from the 1970’s.
The story was interesting, tried to get past hating the chats it’s due to narrators treatment.

Historia
Fitzwilliam Darcy returns to his beloved Pemberley with one thing on his mind — to forget Elizabeth Bennet. Riding ahead of his party and racing a storm, he happens upon the very woman he wants to avoid. To his astonishment, she is holding a baby whose name and parentage are unknown. Elizabeth Bennet never dreamed she had wandered into Pemberley’s woods on her afternoon walk. But when she finds an infant alone in the storm, she turns to the last man in the world she wants to see — and the only one who can help them both.

Wasted credit
Revisado: 09-02-21
Listen to Pride and Prejudice instead. Somehow I was encouraged by audible to waste a credit on a book - seeming 90% borrowed from Jane Austen’s famous novel with only one unnecessary and irrelevant side story. Don’t waste your time or credit.
