Sooooo the mysterious MMC is HOT AS F*CK! Anytime Caelum speaks I need to fan myself.

The FMC, Estrella, is strong and independent (except for when Caelum is around, she’s a simp for him).

I wish there was a just little more plot and a little less talk about how big Caelum’s d*ck is. But I enjoyed myself nonetheless.

Interesting world building. And that ending!!! Jeeeeez I need the next book ASAP.

If you’re a fan of Sarah J. Maas’ A Court of Thorns and Roses series, you should check this one out.

Needs new narrators

The narrators made this listen almost unbearable. They were all wrong for this book. The emphasize they put on certain words and phrases was odd and out of place. The male narrator read super fast, while the female narrator read quite slow. I should have just read this book on paperback.

This book made me giggle, swoon, tear up, and fan myself! Lol. A great slow-burn, office romance.

Andi and Sebastian did a superb job narrating, as always!

Disappointed

I was excited for this listen after reading all the amazing reviews. Unfortunately, I did not find it that enjoyable. Many reviewers said they laughed a lot, well I didn’t laugh once. Although there were some heartwarming moments, the lead characters were not very likable. The female lead is needy and pushy and the male lead is a big jerk (I didn’t matter if he had tender moments, still a jerk). The female narrator wasn’t my cup of tea. Troy Duran’s narration was the only 5 star thing about this book. I’ll be removing this one from my library.

This kind of crazy isn’t for me.

I tried so hard to like this book, but I couldn’t get past how freakin’ crazy Layla is. I’m all for forbidden romance novels, but Layla is a different breed. She is so mentally unstable that it kind of scares me. I also did not appreciate the cheating in this book.

The narrators gave a wonderful performance. And there were quite a few hot and steamy scenes that I enjoyed, but I still couldn’t love it.

Hot damn!

How many times can one say “deadpan,” “bloody hell,” and “sexily”? I don’t know, but TL Swan says it about 587,245 times. That was a little annoying.

That being said, holy shit Dr. Stanton is hot! This story had me crying, angry, and swooning. Cameron and April have something special!

The narrators did an excellent job! Read this now!

Holy hell Mr. Garcia is a deviant and the dirtiest of them all! He was such an asshole to April half the time, but you understand why after delving into his relationship history. This story is sexy, heart-wrenching, frustrating, and romantic. I finished this book within two days. I love that Julian and Spencer are in this book also. Narrators did a superb job! Read it!

Holy Sh*t!

Mr. Masters is emotionally unavailable, f*cked up in the head, and OH SO HOT! This books was sexy, heart-wrenching, and romantic. I felt angry, sad, and was on the edge of my seat. Finished this book within two days. TL Swan sure knows how to write an erotica romance novel. The narrators did a pretty good job. However, I wish the female narrator would have done a better male voice when she was speaking as Julian.

Overall pretty good.

The female character, Hannah, is a little too naive and therefore a little annoying. I loved everything about Will. The plot was done well and there was plenty of steam within the relationship.

I didn’t love the male narrator’s voice -sounds like he should be narrating a State Farm commercial, LOL.

Not as great as first four, but still good.

This book wasn’t as good as the previous four in the series. This one wasn’t as steamy. I felt that Genny and Brody’s romance was lacking in many places. Still worth the credit though!
