Historia
Nintendo has continually set the standard for video game innovation in America, starting in 1981 with a plucky hero who jumped over barrels to save a girl from an ape. The saga of Mario, the portly plumber who became the most successful franchise in the history of gaming, has plot twists worthy of a video game. Jeff Ryan shares the story of how this quintessentially Japanese company found success in the American market.

Very good. Narrator doesn’t smack his lips, unlike several other narrators on this app. I have listened to it about 6 times by now lol.

As good as I remember it!
Revisado: 04-14-22
I read this book several years ago and it has aged extremely well. It’s as amazingly as I remember it, and I found myself laughing my head off at several points. Highly recommend, would and will listen to again.

Why we think it’s a great listen: It’s easy to say that when it comes to sci-fi you either love it or you hate it. But with Ender’s Game, it seems to be you either love it or you love it.... The war with the Buggers has been raging for a hundred years, and the quest for the perfect general has been underway for almost as long. Enter Andrew "Ender" Wiggin, the result of decades of genetic experimentation.

Amazing
Revisado: 02-07-22
This book was fantastic. Though I don’t recommend this to younger kids. Some certain references are made that make me feel glad that I waited until I was older to read this book. The male reader was great, but the female didn’t deliver very well. I loved how the author doesn’t spell everything out fir you, but lets you piece the story together yourself. Altogether great book, highly recommended for teens.

These stories are an extra peek at Auggie before he started at Beecher Prep and during his first year there. Listeners get to see him through the eyes of Julian, the bully; Christopher, Auggie's oldest friend; and Charlotte, Auggie's new friend at school. Together, these three stories are a treasure for listeners who don't want to leave Auggie behind when they finish Wonder.

Decent follow up
Revisado: 01-22-22
Good book altogether. Shingaling was…meh. I liked how they provided some insight into times before the main story, during the main story, and the events afterwards. (Not in that particular order.) my favorite was the Julian chapter, because it finally explained what happened to the most hated on character from the first book, while providing the audience with a look at his motivations, not to say that their justified, AND at the same time giving him a much better ending. Shingaling was just…so girly. I know that sounds immature but I just didn’t enjoy it as much as the others. I honestly never was curious about Charlotte, and was not as interested in her story as some of the others, but that’s just me. Pluto was pretty decent. Christopher was a minor character in the first book, and I was honestly pretty intrigued, and wanted to know more about his story. The audio quality sounded like he fished the mic out of a Best Buy dumpster somewhere, but other than that, the story was solid.
All in all, good book. Though without the Julian chapter, my opinion would be much more critical.

Great book, weak beginning
Revisado: 01-09-22
I had to read this book for school, and turned to audio books for help, because the beginning was so bad that I thought I would never get to the end. Later on, I started enjoying the book more and more. You just have to suffer through the beginning to get to the good part. Trust me, it’s worth it.

Historia
Esports is one of the fastest growing - and most cutthroat - industries in the world. A confluence of technology, culture, and determination has made this possible. Players around the world compete for millions of dollars in prize money, and companies like Amazon, Coca-Cola, and Intel have invested billions. Esports events have sold out Los Angeles' Staples Center, Seoul's World Cup Stadium, and Seattle's KeyArena. Hundreds of people have dedicated their lives to gaming, sacrificing their education, their relationships, and even their bodies to compete.

Revisado: 07-16-21
I absolutely adored the first one in t he series except for the screaming of the actor. Not only has it been toned down a LOT, but the storytelling and plot are even better than the first one! (If that’s possible) still some yelling, but fantastic all the same.

You may not recognize my name-or my face for that matter-but it's very likely you've seen me at work. I've managed to cram quite a bit into my thirty-year acting career. In fact I've helped put more bums on cinema seats than Will Smith or Tom Hanks. Who else can say that they've helped destroy a Death Star? Defeated an evil sorceress? Taught magic to Harry Potter? Become a Jedi Master? Reluctantly hitchhiked across the galaxy in search of the answer to the Ultimate Question?

Please stop SCREAMING!
Revisado: 06-17-21
This is such a fantastic book. I love the story and mystery. I’ve stayed up WAY to late listening to this. My main problem is how LOUD he is. I’m just relaxing listening to a great book, and then I’m just blasted with a scream, and I’m just tense again! But other than that, it’s an amazing book.
