Sad, sarcastic, and grating...terrible
Revisado: 01-04-19
Couldn’t get through the first few chapters. It’s a dated, and biased look at gay adoption through Dan Savage’s bitchy, bitter old queen eyes. I cringed when he attacked the straight people in their adoption classes...I cringed when he talked about the stupid fight he had with his would-be partner about Bjork on their road trip. How / why would they adopt a kid together if they can’t even get through a simple road trip. Skip this book my fellow LGBTQ adoptive parents. There must be better, less bleak perspectives on gay adoption than this. We are better than this...rise above. I feel bad for Dan Savage. Poor, miserable man that he is...

Historia
In Crossing the Chasm, Geoffrey A. Moore popularized the technology adoption life cycle, known elsewhere as the product adoption curve or innovation adoption curve. Contained in this useful model are terms you've heard but may not truly understand: innovators, early adopters, early majority, late majority, and laggards. Between the early market segments (innovators and early adopters) and the mainstream market segments (early and late majorities) lies the chasm.

This is the best thing i've gotten off of amazon

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I not only recommend this audiobook, immediately after listening to it i sent it to 3 collegues in our company to have them listen immediately.
This audiobook gave me everything i would want to know from 'Crossing the Chasm' in a quick to digest (but DENSE) 45 mins. it requires some replaying of parts, but it was great and helped me identify exactly what things i need to do next within my organization.
Which scene was your favorite?
its an excellent summary of the key points of the larger book, and it is extremely digestible and actionable in it being only 45 mins to experience all of the content.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
love it. the content accurately described where my company was at in the chasm as well as where our main competitor is at. super helpful!
Any additional comments?
