Every American should read or listen to this book

The title of this book is quite a contrast to the book John F Kennedy wrote - Profiles in Courage - title of this book Profiles in Corruption is rightly named. This tells what happens behind the smiles for the TV cameras - how taxpayer money is wasted on Democrats promoting themselves and family along with their "donors". You will not see or hear this stuff on CNN.

I wonder if whoever started this book thought of writing a 1000 page volume, then at some point said - no, just finish it and get paid. The part I was most interested in was there, but I think more detail could have been supplied. The first section - early plans I think could have been shortened - so actual telling of the laying of the rails could have been given much more attention.

Excellent spoken - but music attempts to drown out

This is an excellently spoken narration - but the music attempts to drown out the Word. Interesting that Satan was the choirmaster in heaven and tried to take over but was thrown out. Perhaps having music drown out the Word - is that the devil's attempt at drowning out the Word of God???

The reader was good, but not Jim Cymbala - I know Jim is a busy man and sitting down reading a book in a studio is not a top priority with him. No idea of the cost but there are computer programs that can mimic anyone - but probably sounds very stiff and formal - which Jim Cymbala is not.
If you enjoy BT testimonies you get many here - if every church had a similar type pastor to Jim Cymbala, I believe this country would be in much better shape.

No music to drown out the Word of God

I simply cannot understand why someone would have an audio book of the bible and cover the Word of God up with music. Sorry I just cannot fathom that thought - but it is done so often.
This is the first TPT book with NO MUSIC to cover it up - perhaps God said - Let there be light - and the light shone into the darkness of covering the reading of the Word with music - and the light came on and music was turned off.

but in the first 20% I listened to a good segment of audio which was repeated as if someone spliced it together wrong - I am worried if the other 80% is similar although technically railroad info is right - it is disturbing that audio is repeated
