Historia
Widely respected as a civil libertarian, legal educator, and defense attorney extraordinaire, Alan M. Dershowitz has also been a passionate though not uncritical supporter of Israel. In this audiobook, he presents an ardent defense of Israel's rights, supported by indisputable evidence. Dershowitz takes a close look at what Israel's accusers and detractors are saying about this war-torn country. He accuses those who attack Israel of international bigotry and backs up his argument with hard facts.

Historia
Ordered to hold an abandoned army post, John Dunbar found himself alone, beyond the edge of civilization. Thievery and survival soon forced him into the Indian camp, where he began a dangerous adventure that changed his life forever. Set in 1863, the novel follows Lieutenant John Dunbar on a magical journey from the ravages of the Civil War to the far reaches of the imperiled American frontier, a frontier he naively wants to see "before it is gone".

Historia
Will Freeman may have discovered the key to dating success: If the simple fact that they were single mothers meant that gorgeous women - women who would not ordinarily look twice at Will - might not only be willing, but enthusiastic about dating him, then he was really onto something. Single mothers - bright, attractive, available women - thousands of them, were all over London. He just had to find them.

A story that you will remember
Revisado: 12-12-22
This was a fun, enjoyable listen. I thought I would try this audible selection after reading "Fever Pitch" which I found quite hysterically funny most of the way through. I did enjoy the humor in this book also, although it was a darker type which came mostly at the expense of a misfit kid. Good character development of the slightly off kilter adults that surround this poor kid, and his lack of being understood and nurtured by them. Luckily Marcus ( the boy) and the other characters mature through their interactions. The story will stick with me.

Historia
On October 13, 1972, a Uruguayan Air Force plane carrying members of the "Old Christians" rugby team - and many of their friends and family members - crashed into the Andes Mountains. I Had to Survive offers a gripping and heartrending recollection of the harrowing, brink-of-death experience that propelled survivor Roberto Canessa to become one of the world's leading pediatric cardiologists.

Better than book Alive!
Revisado: 10-16-21
I’m so glad I found this! The book ALIVE has remained one of my all time favorites, and this dramatization written by one of the main characters, and yes I call him a “hero”, will stay with me for life. I’m so glad I got the story “ straight from the horse’s mouth” so to speak. In this production I found answers to some of the questions about what happened to them after their discovery and rescue. The rescue itself, somewhat glossed over in ALIVE, is satisfyingly enlarged in this edition. I think I have to say this is the most inspirational narrative I have ever experienced. Just as a side note: I think this is the first review I have taken the time to write, and I have over a hundred audible books in my library.

Historia
It is 1922, and London is tense. Ex-servicemen are disillusioned; the out-of-work and the hungry are demanding change. And in South London, in a genteel Camberwell villa, a large silent house now bereft of brothers, husband, and even servants, life is about to be transformed, as impoverished widow Mrs. Wray and her spinster daughter, Frances, are obliged to take in lodgers.

worthless lesbian pornography
Revisado: 12-06-17
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
Historical not, story poor, graphic lesbian sexual activity yuck! I don't like graphic sex period. The explanation of book didn't mention this, but I consider this book PORNOGRAPHY!
What do you think your next listen will be?
SOME CLASSIC TITLE
How did the narrator detract from the book?
The narrator was the only good thing about this book. I wish JS wouldn't have sunk to this level of debauchery.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Anger that the book review was misleading, and not plain speaking about the storyline of this book
Any additional comments?
Story was tedious and plot seemed non existent, I got about half way through before I removed this from my device. Nothing is worth it about this book.
